Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to improve strength and to reduce cost, by making a mesh grid electrode of a fluorescent character display tube, composed of mainly Fe-Cr alloy containing a specific rate of Cr. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent character display tube is made by forming the anode of graphite etc. on a glass base plate 1, covering it with a phosphor material 2 to make up an indication segment, placing a mesh grid electrode 3 composed mainly of Fe-Cr alloy containing 10-18wt% of Cr and fixed by welding on the lead spacer 6 with a proper distance, moreover, arranging a filament 4, and sealing up vacuum airtight with a cover glass 5. Therefore, the strength of the mesh grid electrode is enriched, and its welding property is improved, so that processing efficiency is increased, as well as cost can be reduced because of using no expansive material such as Ni.

A conventional fluorescent display tube generally has a structure shown in FIG. 1, for example. That is, an anode made of graphite or the like is formed on a glass substrate 1, and a fluorescent material 2 is deposited on the anode, and a mesh grid (hereinafter referred to as 3 is welded and fixed to the spacer 6, and the grid 3 is fixed to the spacer 6 by welding.
A filament 4 is placed at an appropriate distance from the anode substrate, and a cover glass 5 is sealed to the anode substrate to form an airtight container.

Conventionally, 426 alloy has been used to add # to these requirements. That is, this material has %42(wt)%N i
, 6 (wt)% Cr, residual FeOe, and the properties are excellent without any problems, but the disadvantages are that it is expensive and that it is easily deformed during handling due to its weak strength. For this reason, this has become a major bottleneck in achieving low morale without impairing reliability. [Object and Structure of the Invention] The object of the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks of good rice. That is, the gist of the present invention is that the main component of the grid is made of an Fe-Cr alloy (especially when Cr is 10(wt)*-1
The present invention is characterized by the use of a metal that is 8 (wt)%.

According to the present invention, since the grid material does not contain expensive Nl, the material cost is low and at the same time, the strength is strong. The present invention not only eliminates the drawbacks of the conventional method but also satisfies the above-mentioned characteristics. Using this material, we produced a product using the same process as the conventionally used 426 alloy, and underwent evaluation including a severe R boundary test, but it was confirmed that there were no problems with the product characteristics and that it could be put to practical use. I was able to prove it.

Crを18 (wt )%以下と制限したのは、次の理

The reason why Cr is limited to 18 (wt)% or less is as follows. In other words, if it exceeds 18 (wt)%, weldability is poor)
This is because there were difficulties in workability.

また、Cr′5clO%以上と制限した理由は、Crが

Further, the reason why the Cr content is limited to 5% or more is that if the Cr content is less than 10%, rust is likely to occur during handling, creating problems in handling, storage, etc.
