Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a stable head touch by installing a wall for head arm- pushing spring slipping prevention around the periphery of a head arm-pushing spring abutting part. CONSTITUTION:A hub receiver 10, for which a magnetic disk is fitted, is installed at the tip of the central part of a magnetic disk rotation driving device 4, and a head arm 12 pushes the first magnetic head 7 and the second magnetic head 8 to the magnetic disk by a head arm-pushing spring. The wall 19 is installed around the periphery of the spring abutting part 18 into which the tip of the head arm-pushing spring 13 is inserted. When a cassette holder 15 is assembled, the head arm 12 is pushed up in the direction of an arrow, and then, the tip of the pushing spring 13 contacts with the wall 19, the head arm 12 rises hardly any more and even when strong impact pressure such as drop impact pressure is applied, slipping from the spring abutting part 18 of the pushing spring 13 is eliminated.

Next, the structure of the head arm portion according to the present invention will be explained. A wall 19 is provided around a spring contact portion 18 into which the tip of the helad arm push spring 13 of the head arm 12 is inserted. The height of this wall 19 from the spring abutment gts is slightly larger than the R portion at the tip of the head arm push spring 13. Also, this i19 is magnetic disk 1
1 and on both sides thereof. According to the structure of the present invention, when the cassette holder 15 is assembled, if the head arm 12 is pushed up in the direction of the arrow in the figure more than necessary than when the magnetic disk holder 11 is not attached, the tip of the helad arm pushing spring 13 will be pushed up against the head arm. Wall 19 installed at 12
When this happens, the head arm 12 will no longer rise, and the head arm push spring 13 will no longer come off the spring contact portion 18.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the head arm pressing spring does not come off from the head arm abutting part during assembly, drop impact, etc., the head arm can always be pressed against the magnetic head with a specified pressure, and the head is stable. It has the effect of being able to obtain touch (performance).
