嵌合するピストンのストロークによりオーパ斗ラベルス
プリングを介してアジャスタレバーを揺動させ、アジャ
スタナットに固定したアジャスタギャを一方向に送って
アジャスタナットに螺合するアジャスタスクリュを螺出
させてシュー間隙を自動調整する外装式オートアジャス
タ機構において、オーバトラベルスプリングの一端部に
掛止部を設けると共にインサートを固定し、かつ他端部
にねじ孔を有するインサートを固定し、該両インサート
間隔を、他端側に係止部を設けた螺杆をねじ孔へ螺入さ
せて設定してオーバトラベルスプリングに初期荷重を与
え、オーバトラベルスプリングの掛止部と螺杆の係止部
とをそれぞれアジャスタレバーとピストンの先端部に固
定されたブラケットに係止させたことを特徴とする外装
