がバックプレートに固定されたアンカ一部材に支持され
ると共に、ブレーキ解放位置に付勢するリターンスプリ
ングが連結された一対のブレーキシュー、該一方のブレ
ーキシューに枢着され、一定の遊隙をもって係合するス
トラットによって他方のブレーキシューに作動的に連結
されたアジャストレバー、該レバーの歯面と噛合うと共
に、前記一方のブレーキシューに枢着され、かつアジャ
ストレバーとの−合いがロックする方向に付勢された爪
部材、及び前記ストラットを前記他方のブレーキシュー
に追従させるスプリングを備えたブレーキ装置において
、前記爪部材をブレーキシューのウェブに枢着させる軸
を、爪本体の一体に形成し、かつ該軸はバックプレート
等の穴から挿入される工具等が係止して軸回転可能な構
造に形成されていることを特徴とするシュー間隙自動調
