By incorporating collagen, which is a fibrous protein, the present invention eliminates bitterness, bad aftertaste, and astringency.
The present invention relates to an oral cavity composition that improves the discomfort in the mouth and provides a good feeling of use. Since oral compositions are used in the oral cavity, they are desired to have a good feel when used, and for this reason, it is desirable to manufacture them from raw materials that provide a relatively satisfactory feeling when used. It is necessary to use raw materials that do not necessarily have a pleasant feeling when used in terms of foaming properties, cleaning properties, abrasive properties, thickening properties, etc. For example, surfactants are usually added to oral compositions such as toothpastes and mouthwashes, but especially when anionic surfactants are used, they irritate the oral mucosa and cause the oral compositions to taste bad. It may make things worse. In addition, silica-based abrasives are mainly used in the production of transparent toothpaste, and thickening silica is often used as a binding agent for toothpaste, but these silicas stimulate the oral mucosa and have an astringent effect. This may give toothpaste an astringent taste. In this case, in order to improve such a poor feeling of use, even if a large amount of sweeteners, fragrances, etc. are added, or strong fragrances are used to mask the poor feeling of use,
They do not necessarily have sufficient effects, and in any case they do not improve the irritation of the oral mucosa, and in particular they are not effective at all against the astringent taste that occurs when rinsing the mouth after use. In addition, as a method for improving the bad aftertaste of oral compositions containing anionic surfactants, a method has been proposed in which gelatin is added in an amount of 1 to 10% by weight (Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 140913/1983). However, in this method, the amount of gelatin used in the formulation is 1% by weight.
If it exceeds the above range, the viscosity of the oral composition (dentifrice) becomes too high and the skin becomes worse at low temperatures, so it cannot be used in practice. As described above, at present, almost no technological improvements have been made to obtain oral compositions that alleviate irritation of the oral mucosa and have a pleasant feeling of use. The present inventors have conducted extensive research into creating an oral composition that is pleasant to use by alleviating irritation of the oral mucosa when using anionic surfactants, silica-based abrasives, thickening silica, etc. As a result, collagens are preferably added to the entire oral composition.
By adding 0.01 to 1% (wt%, the same applies hereinafter), irritation of the oral mucosa is alleviated, and the bitterness, bad aftertaste, astringency, and discomfort in the mouth of the oral composition are improved, and the feeling of use is improved. The present invention was made based on the findings that the present invention can be improved. The present invention will be explained in more detail below. The oral composition according to the present invention contains collagen, and the inclusion of collagen improves the feel of the oral composition. In this case, the collagen may be either insoluble collagen or soluble collagen. As such collagen, those listed in the "Collagen" section of "Chemistry Dictionary" (Kyoritsu Shuppan Co., Ltd., published October 15, 1982) can be used. In addition, commercially available products include atelocollagen and atelocollagen SS from Kouken Co., Ltd.
From Kultlichter under the name Collagen CLR,
Examples include products sold under the name Collazole by Oak Roader Chemicals and further under the name Collagen by Sigma. Further, collagens may be used alone or in combination of two or more. The amount of collagen compounded is preferably 0.01 to 1%, more preferably 0.01 to 0.5% of the total composition. If the amount of collagen is less than 0.01%, the effect of the addition may not be fully achieved, and if it is more than 1%, the viscosity of the oral composition may become too high. The oral composition according to the present invention is used as a toothpaste, such as a toothpaste, a moist toothpaste, a liquid toothpaste, a mouthwash, and the like. As other components of the present invention, appropriate components commonly used may be blended depending on the type of oral composition, purpose of use, etc. For example, in the case of toothpaste, silica gel, colloidal silica, silica-based abrasives such as anhydrous alkali metal silicate complex salts, dicalcium phosphate dihydrate and anhydride, monocalcium phosphate, tribasic calcium phosphate, carbonate, etc. Calcium, calcium pyrophosphate, titanium oxide, alumina, hydrated alumina, aluminum silicate, insoluble sodium metaphosphate, insoluble potassium metaphosphate, tribasic magnesium phosphate, magnesium carbonate, calcium sulfate, polymethyl methacrylate, bentonite, zirconium silicate , synthetic resin, etc. (compounding amount usually 10% to 99%, 10% to 75% in the case of toothpaste). In addition, in the case of paste-form oral compositions such as toothpaste, cellulose derivatives such as carrageenan, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, methylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, and sodium carboxymethylhydroxyethylcellulose, and alkali metal alginates such as sodium alginate are used as binders. , propylene glycol alginate, gums such as xanthan gum, gum tragacanth, gum karaya, gum arabic, synthetic binders such as polyvinyl alcohol, sodium polyacrylate, carboxyvinyl polymer, polyvinylpyrrolidone, thickening silica such as silica gel and aluminum silica gel, One or more inorganic binders such as Veegum and Laponite may be blended (the amount usually ranges from 0.5 to 5
%). Furthermore, in the production of dentifrices and other oral compositions, sorbitol, glycerin,
ethylene glycol, propylene glycol,
One or more of 1,3-butylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, polypropylene glycol, xyrite, maltite, lactite, etc. may be blended (the blending amount is usually 10 to 70%). In addition, water-soluble salts of higher alkyl sulfates whose alkyl group has 8 to 18 carbon atoms such as sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium myristyl sulfate, and water-soluble higher fatty acid monoglyceride monosulfates such as sodium hydrogenated coconut oil fatty acid monoglyceride monosulfate. salts, alkylaryl sulfonates such as sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, higher alkyl sulfonates, higher fatty acid esters of 1,2-dihydroxypropanesulfonate, sodium N-lauroyl, N-myristoyl or N-palmitoyl sarcosine. , anionic surfactants such as substantially saturated higher aliphatic acylamides of lower aliphatic aminocarboxylic acid compounds such as potassium or ethanolamine salts, and fatty acid groups having 12 to 18 carbon atoms such as sucrose mono- and dilaurates. Certain sucrose fatty acid esters, lactose fatty acid esters, lactitol fatty acid esters, maltitol fatty acid esters, stearic acid monoglyceride, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monostearate, polyoxyethylene (10, 20, 40, 60 , 80, 100 mol) hydrogenated castor oil, polymers of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, and condensation products of polyethylene oxide with fatty acids, fatty alcohols, polyhydric alcohols, and polypropylene oxide, such as polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene monolauryl ester, etc. nonionic surfactant,
One or more surfactants such as betaine type, amino acid type, etc.
0.1 to 10%, preferably 0.5 to 5%). The oral composition of the present invention further contains saccharin sodium, stevioside, neohesperidyl dihydrochalcone, glycyrrhizin, perillartin, thaumatin, asparatylphenylalanine methyl ester, p-methoxycinnamic aldehyde, sucrose, lactose, fructose. , a sweetening agent such as sodium cyclamate (0-1%, preferably
0.01 to 0.5%), and if necessary, p-hydroxymethyl benzoituku acid, p-hydroxyethyl benzoituku acid, p-hydroxypropyl benzoituku acid, p-hydroxybutyl benzoituku acid, sodium benzoate, lower fatty acid monoglyceride, etc. Preservatives, fragrances such as wintergreen oil, spearmint oil, peppermint oil, satsafras oil, clove oil, eucalyptus oil, whitening agents such as gelatin, peptone, arginine hydrochloride, albumin, casein, titanium dioxide, silicones, pigments, etc. For example, in the case of a toothpaste, it can be produced by kneading the above-mentioned desired components with an appropriate amount of water. In addition, when preparing a transparent toothpaste, a silica-based abrasive is used as the abrasive, and the vehicle in which this is mixed is made into a transparent state whose refractive index is adjusted to substantially the same as that of the silica-based abrasive. The silica-based abrasive and this transparent vehicle are mixed together. Moreover, when producing other oral compositions, they can be produced according to conventional methods using appropriate commonly used ingredients. Furthermore, in the present invention, enzymes such as allantoins, epsilon aminocaproic acid, tranexamic acid, dextranase, amylase, protease, mutanase, lysozyme, lytic enzyme, and liteque enzyme, sodium monofluorophosphate,
Alkali metal monofluorophosphates such as potassium monofluorophosphate, sodium fluoride,
Fluorides such as ammonium fluoride and stannous fluoride, chlorhexacidine salts, dihydrocholesterol, glycyrrhetinic salts, glycyrrhetinic acid, glycerophosphate, chlorophyll, calopeptide, water-soluble inorganic phosphoric acid compounds, vitamins, anti-tartar agents, One or more types of active ingredients such as antibacterial agents and plaque inhibitors may be added. According to the invention, a surfactant, in particular a carbon number of 8 to
If an anionic surfactant such as a water-soluble salt of an alkyl sulfate ester having 18 alkyl groups or an N-alkyl sarcosinate salt is blended, the taste of the oral composition becomes bad and gives a strong bitter taste. However, by incorporating collagen, the poor feeling when using these products is improved. In addition, amorphous hydrated synthetic amorphous silica with abrasive properties, such as Zeo49, Zeodent113 (manufactured by Huber, USA),
Syloid AL-1, 63, 74, 244 (USA WR Grace
), Neosyl ET (J.Crossfield & Sons, UK)

Vitasil (manufactured by Taki Chemical), Cabo-sil (Cabot, USA)
(manufactured by Degussa, Germany) and other thickening silicas (manufactured by Degussa, Germany) impart an astringent taste to oral compositions, but the combination of collagen suppresses this astringency and provides an excellent feeling of use. It is something. In addition, when blending N-alkyl sarcosinate salt, the blending amount can be 0.1 to 0.5% of the total, and the silica-based abrasive may be 5 to 50% of the total.
%, and the thickening silica can be blended in an amount of 0.1 to 5% of the total. Next, experimental examples will be shown to specifically explain the effects of the present invention.
