て、前工程コンベヤの側方位置に平行して昇降台
が昇降手段により昇降可能に設置され、該昇降台
に台車が前工程コンベヤに沿つて昇降台の前端位
置と後端位置との間で往復動可能に配置され、該
台車には前工程コンベヤの物品と係合する係合手
段が固設され、通常は、前工程コンベヤに載置し
て移送される物品が、前記昇降台上において後端
位置にある台車の係合手段と係合する時点で昇降
手段により昇降台を上昇させて物品を持ち上げた
とき、台車を前端位置に早送りして物品を後工程
コンベヤの吊掛け位置の下方まで移送し、一方、
後工程コンベヤが停止した際には、前工程コンベ
ヤに載置された物品が台車の係合手段と係合する
時点でフリー状態とされ、物品を台車の係合手段
に係合させたまま後端位置から先行の物品と干渉
しない位置まで前工程コンベヤに追随して遅送り
