を維持して大気圧下に耐え得る構造にしなければならな
い関係上、製品価格が高くなる問題があった。

ので、厨芥を密閉乾燥室中にて温風加熱し、これによ多
発生した水蒸気念乾燥室外に導いて冷却し水として取)
出す乾燥方式とすることにより、厨芥の均一な乾燥及び
重量2体積の低減を図るとともて、処理後の臭気の発生
を防ぎ、併せて手を汚すことなく処理厨芥を自動的に排
出できるようにした厨芥処理機を提供するにある。

パス通路9は、一端を上記乾燥室2の吹出口2bに連結
したケーシング10と、このケーシング10の他端側に
設けた吸込口10aと上記投入口6に設けた導入ロ6&
間を連通ずる導入管11とから構成され、そして上記ケ
ーシング10内には循環用の送風ファン12が吸込口1
0aに位置して配置されておシ、さらにケーシング10
内の吹出口2bと対応する側にはヒータ13が配設され
ている。14は一端を上記導入管11の水蒸気排出孔1
1&に連結し、他端をケース1内に突出させたスパラル
状の水蒸気冷却用排水管であ夛、この排水管14は乾燥
室2内での厨芥の温風加熱により生じた水蒸気を冷却液
化するもので、そのケース1外突出端から流出する液体
は下水管等には排出されるようになっている。また、1
5は乾燥室2の排出口2aを開閉する開閉蓋で、その外
周縁には排出口2aを密閉するためのパツキン16が装
着されており、このようにした開閉蓋15は、乾燥室2
の外壁にピン17により回動可能に枢着した操作レバー
18の一端に支持され、その他端はケース2外に突出さ
れている。19は上記排出口2a及びその開閉i15を
取シ囲むように上記乾燥室2の下面に取付けたガイド管
で、このガイド管19の下方には処理済み厨芥全収容す
る収容箱20が出し入れ可能に配置されている。

水蒸気は自然冷却により液化され、その液化水分は開口
端から下水管等に排出される。

却液化する方式としたので、厨芥による排水の汚れが極
めて少なく、厨芥乾燥の熱効率も優れているほか、処理
後の厨芥を通常の塵埃と同様に取扱い得る。また、厨芥
の乾燥途中で仕切板を回転することにより厨芥を撹拌す
る方式としたので、厨芥を均一で低含水率の状態まで乾
燥することができ、これに伴い厨芥の体積及び重量を数
分の1 (”/4)以下にすることができるほか、処理
後の臭気の発生もない。さらに処理済みの厨芥は、乾燥
室の底部に設けた蓋を外部操作レバーにより開け、乾燥
室内の仕切板を回転させることで乾燥室外へ自動的に排
出するため、使用者における厨芥取出しなどの煩しい手
間を省くことができ、かつ構造もシンプルで低コスト化
できるなどの効果がある。
