Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an electronic clinical thermometer conventient when approximate temp. may be read, by providing a temp. disply part of which the light emitting part is changed in its length corresponding to measuring temp. and can be displayed by a plurality of colors and displaying said light emitting part by different colors at every predetermined temp. zone. CONSTITUTION:The titled thermometer is constituted so as to include a temp. sensor 2, an A/D converter 6, an operation processing part (CPU)7, memory 8, a decoder 9 and an analogue temp. display part 3 while the analogue temp. display part 3 is constituted by arranging a large number of bar shaped LCD elements directed to a temp. change direction at right angles and the lighting and display color of each LCD element are respectively controlled by a decoder. A switch 5 is turned ON and the temp. sensor 2 of an electronic clinical theremometer 1 is contacted with the predetermined part of the human body to measure temp. T. That is, when 35<=T<=37 deg.C, the LCD element corresponding to the measuring temp. T or less is indicated to green in the LCD analogue temp. display part 3. When T<38 deg.C, the LCD element corresponding to the temp. between 37 deg.C and the measuring temp. is indicated to an orange color and, when T>=38 deg.C, the LCD element between 38 deg.C and the measuring temp. T is indicated to a red color.
