Claims

A sealed container attached to the compressor body and having an inlet and an outlet for refrigerant gas from the compressor, and an eliminator installed in the container to separate oil contained in the refrigerant gas that has flowed in. In the oil separator, the eliminator is located above the oil level accumulated at the bottom of the container and is arranged substantially parallel to the oil level, and the inlet for the refrigerant gas is opened at the upper side of the eliminator. At the same time, a refrigerant gas inflow chamber is formed on the upper surface of the eliminator, and the refrigerant gas outlet is provided on the side wall of the container slightly away from the refrigerant gas inflow chamber, so that the oil separated by the eliminator flows in the downward direction of the vortex. An oil separator characterized in that the outflow direction of the refrigerant gas and the outflow direction of the refrigerant gas are the same.
