ナ4を通過したガスは電磁弁9を介して予熱バー
ナ8へ導びかれる。この予熱バーナ8の炎は上記

ンサ12とで決定される時定数の長さだけ開成状
態が保持されるが時間が経過すると閉成する。こ
の時定数の長さは触媒が加熱されて十分活性する
までの長さをあらかじめ測定しておき、それによ
り抵抗13とコンデンサ12の値を決定すればよ
い。コンデンサ12の放電後は電磁弁9は閉じ、
