【考案の詳細な説明】

本考案は、主として自動車の排気装置に関す

く、そのために充分な消音効果を発揮できないと
いう問題があつた。

方の管の密接部の周壁には上記開口部よりも小径
の貫通孔が1個または複数個穿設されていること

音機能を有する管の共鳴特性を変更するために上
記密着部分に穿設される他方の管の貫通孔の孔径
を変更しても、消音機能を有する管の開口部が当
該貫通孔よりも大きく開口しているので、二つの
管の密着、組付性が容易である。しかも、これに
閉鎖された管の共鳴による消音作用及びその中に
充填された吸音材による消音作用が相俟つて消音
するから、より一層の消音効果が期待できる。
