[Detailed description of the invention] The present invention provides a case in which a cylindrical axial adsorbent having air permeability in the direction of the center line of the cylindrical axis is housed so as to be rotatable in one direction around the center line of the cylindrical axis. Two walls each having a surface along the radial direction of the adsorbent are provided in each space toward which both ends of the adsorbent are directed, and these walls allow the space to be used as a first space for the adsorbed gas to pass through.
The present invention relates to a seal structure for an adsorption/desorption device that is divided into a chamber and a second chamber for passing high temperature gas for desorption.

In this type of adsorption/desorption device, if the seal between the wall and the adsorbent is poor, the high-temperature gas for desorption leaks into the first chamber, which not only causes a loss of heat in the high-temperature gas but also reduces the supply to the adsorbent. There was a drawback that good desorption could not be carried out due to insufficient heat, resulting in deterioration of early adsorption performance.

For this purpose, it is possible to create a seal between the adsorbent and the wall, but since the adsorbent rotates in a direction perpendicular to the surface of the wall, the elastic seal is easily bent by the rotation of the adsorbent. It was difficult to maintain sealing properties.

In order to achieve this object, the present invention provides a seal structure for the adsorption/desorption device described above, in which the inner pressure of the two chambers partitioned by the wall is increased in the direction of rotation of the adsorbent. An elastic plate-shaped seal member is provided on the side wall facing the adsorbent and extends longer than the gap between the wall and the adsorbent, and a bag-like elastic seal member is provided on the other wall. A structure is adopted in which the chamber and the internal space are communicated with each other and extend toward the adsorbent.

In other words, the free end of the elastic plate-shaped seal member provided on the upper wall in the rotational direction is bent toward the inside of the high internal pressure chamber by sliding contact with the adsorbent, and this bending is caused by the pressure difference between the two chambers. The free end portion is brought into pressure contact with the adsorbent.

Next, on the wall on the lower side in the direction of rotation, sealing cannot be achieved with the plate-shaped sealing member as described above, but the present invention extends the bag-shaped elastic sealing member as described above. The free end of the shaped seal member that comes into pressure contact with the adsorbent has a bent surface that goes from the external low-pressure side chamber to the high-pressure side chamber, and as the internal pressure becomes larger than the external low-pressure chamber, this bent surface portion will be pressed against the adsorbent.

In this way, by pressing the elastic seal member against the adsorbent using the internal pressure difference between the two chambers, the sealing performance can be improved better than before, and as the internal pressure difference increases or decreases, the seal's contact with the adsorbent Since the pressure contact force also increases or decreases, there is no need to press the seal against the adsorbent body excessively to hasten the wear of the seal member.
