従来のエアフイルタは、第1図乃至第3図示の
如く、枠体内に、ジグザグ状に多数の層状の面部
材a,a…に屈曲形成して成る材Aを装入し、
該材Aの各相隣る面部材a,a間の空間c内
に、ジグザグ状に多数の屈曲縁b,b…を形成し
たセパレーターBを介入せしめ、該材Aの各面
部材aを介して隣り合うセパレーターB,Bを、
該面部材aの両側面に接する屈曲縁b,b…,
b,b…に於て、第3図示に明示の如く、互に上
下方向に位置のずれた平行関係に配設するように
構成されているため、その使用に於て、第1図示
の矢示の方向から多量の処理すべき空気が該空間
c内に流入した場合、その強風圧によりセパレー
ターBの各屈曲縁bを押圧する。然るに、該材
Aの面部材aのその押圧される各屈曲縁bと対向
する反対側には屈曲縁bが存在しないので、面部
材aは該屈曲縁bによりその反対側にくの字状に
変形しかくして、全体として材Aはその各面部
材aで第4図示の如く、その断面が波状に変形し
て材Bのパツク強度は弱くなり、エアフイルタ

グ状のセパレーターBを材Aの空間C内に挿入
する作業は極めて面倒であるばかりでなく、使用
に於て、容易に屈曲縁bは当初の位置からずれ
て、上記従来の上下方向に位置のずれた好ましく
ない関係に変位する欠点がある。本考案は、上記
の点を考慮し、上記従来の不都合を解消し、且つ
長期に亘り安定して材の面部材の両側からの支
持を保持し得るエアフイルタを提供するもので、
枠体1内に、ジグザグ状に多数の層状の面部材2
a,2a…に屈曲形成して成る材2を収納する
と共に該材2の各相隣する面部材2a,2a間
の空間3内にジグザグ状に多数の屈曲線4a,4
a…をもつように屈曲せしめたセパレーター4を
介入せしめて成るエアフイルタに於て、該材2
の各面部材2aを介して隣り合うセパレーター
4,4を、該面部材2aの両面面に接する屈曲線
4a,4a…,4a,4a…に於て互に交差する

料とするセパレーター4を夫々介入せしめるが、
該ジグザグ状のセパレーター4は、第7図示の如
く、矩形状のセパレーター素子を予めその幅方向
の中心軸線に対し適宜傾斜せしめてジグザグ状に
折り、多数の傾斜する屈曲縁4a,4a…とした
もので、かくしてこれを空間3内に常法に従つて
挿入するときは、第5図及び第6図示の如く、水
平方向に対し傾斜した多数の平行する屈曲縁4
a,4a…に配設された状態のセパレーター4が
自動的に得られる。5は、セパレーター4のジグ
ザグ状の屈曲面によつて形成される傾斜した多数

パレーター4,4の組込みが得られる。従つてこ
れによれば各面部材2aは、多数の互に交叉する

たものが得られる。従つてその使用に於てこのエ
アフイルタに多量の空気が入つた場合に於ては、

部材2aはその全面に亘り挾持されて従来の如き
欠点を解消され、その屈曲縁4aの位置が動揺し
ても互に交叉する関係にあるため、常に面部材2
aの交叉部による挾持は失なわれず、従来のよう
に面部材2aが1方のセパレーターの屈曲縁によ
り他方へ変位するようなおそれを全く解消し、長
期に亘り面部材2aを良好且つ安定した状態に維
