とは膝関節義肢の各屈曲位置で大腿骨関節部に対
する脛骨関節部の限られた回動が本物の膝関節に
おけると同様に行なえること、さらに大腿骨関節
部が脛骨関節部に対して限られた運動(これも本
物の膝関節の場合に生じる)を前方に行なえるこ
とである。上記関節部が行なう回動や運動によつ
て、膝関節義肢の筋肉の過度の延びが回避され
る。しかし前記特許出願では大腿骨関節部が大腿
骨内に突出する固定ロツドを有していて、同固定
ロツドの軸線は大腿骨関節部に形成された内側顆
及び外側顆の間に形成された関節空隙の垂直な長
手中央面に位置しているため、膝蓋骨部用バンド
内に納められた膝蓋骨部が本物と同様の運動(上
方外側からアーチ状に下方内側への運動)を妨げ
られずに行なうことができない。
