湯沸器において、該操作部材に係合してその操作
を阻止すべく作動するロツク部材を設け、該ロツ
ク部材を該水圧応動部材に連結して、非通水時に
はその作動が解除されるようにした式のものを提
案したが、かゝるものでは例えば使用中誤つて消
火釦を押して該手動操作部材を始端位置に戻した
とき、手動弁が閉じて消火すると共にこの際通水
の継続により該ロツク部材は作動して該操作部材
をロツクし、かくてその再操作が不能であるが、
この際該ロツク部材と該操作部材側のこれと係合
する段部との間には多少とも隙間があり、従つて
該操作部材を該隙間の範囲内で繰返し押圧して該
手動弁を多少とも繰返し開弁することが可能であ
り、この状態から次で通水を停止して前記したロ
ツクを解除し該操作部材を押圧操作して再点火し
たとき、先に放出されて存する生ガスに爆発着火
を生ずることがあり、これは好ましくない。
