Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately detect the humidity by directing the draft air to a humidity sensor by fixing the humidity sensor to the lower part of the power source panel situated on the back of a room unit of an air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:A humidity sensor 21 of a room unit 10 of a separate type air conditioner is fixed to a humidity sensor fixing device 25 disposed in the lower part of the back of a power source panel 18 in such a manner that the humidity sensor 21 is slidably held by a retainer 23 and is fixed by a hook 24. The humidity sensor 21 detects the humidity of room air by a humidity sensing part 22. As there is a hole 20 for preventing the fan motor overheating, the ventilation aroung the humidity sensing part 22 is good, and because it is separated from a heat exchanger 14 by the power source panel 18, it is not adversely affected. In this manner, the humidity can accurately be detected in response to a change in humidity of the room air.

記送風機15のスタビライザを兼ねている。17はファ
ンモータであり、前記送風機15とファンモータシャフ
トを介して連結されている。18は電源盤であり、同図
に示されるように前記ファンモータ17と電子制御装置
18aの固定装置も兼ねている。

発明の効果 以上のように本発明は、湿度センサに通風を与えること
により正確な湿度の検知が行なえ、さらに熱交換器との
遮断に断熱材を使用しないので材料費、組立工数の低減
がはかれ、また簡単な構造で固定されているのでサービ
ス性の向上がはかれる。さらに従来のように正面に感知
穴が不要であるので意匠的にも優れた効果を奏するもの
である。
