この発明は、自動車ボデー鋼板の結合装置に関

いられる。電着塗置は、自動車ボデーを電着塗装
浴の中へ漬けて行うので、袋部分にも塗装浴が入
つて塗装できる利点がある。しかし、鋼板の端部
を重ね合わせて溶着した部分には、電着塗装浴が
入らないので、塗り残しができる。そして、接合
端部の隙間にシーラ等を詰込んでも、前記塗り残

3の端部は、突起6上に乗せ、上板3の端面と段
部との間に僅かの隙間を設けて近接させる。そし
て、突起6部分に於て上板3と下板2をスポツト
溶接によつて溶着する。上板3の端面と、下板2
の段部4の隙間には、下塗塗装後にシーラ7を詰

がなくなるので、防錆が計れて、早期に錆が発生
することを防ぐことができる。又、シーラも、下
塗塗装後に、上板と段差面の隙間まで十分詰める
ことができるので、自動車の走行中のねじれ等に
よつてシーラに割れが生ずるのを防止することが
できる。そして、上板と下板の合せ精度も突起高
