Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、鳥羽製のバドミントンシャトルコックの耐久
性を向上せしめる方法に関するものである。
従来の鳥羽製のバドミントンシャトルコックは飛行特性
、使用感に於いて優れているものの、用いられている鳥
羽片の「特許請求の範囲」に指定した部分の処理が不充
分のままであった為に羽軸がこの部分から縦に断裂し易
く、よって耐久性に優れず寿命が充分で無いうらみが有
った。
そこで本発明は上記指定部分に、同じく「特許請求の範
囲」に記述した様な処理を施こす事により、当該部分を
付着物によって固結又は粘結せしめ、同部分より断裂が
発生、進行する事に対する低抗力を強化せしめる事を特
色とする鳥羽製のバドミントンシャトルコックの耐久性
向−Ｌ法であり、下記　「実施例」に述べる様に著しい
効果が認められるものである。
実施例 固着性の付着剤としてシアノアクリレート系の接着剤（
所謂、瞬間接着剤）を用いて本発明を実施した所、シャ
トルコックの耐久性が飛躍的に向上し、　［シャトルコ
ックの消耗個数７人７月１なる単位で見た時のシャトル
コックの消耗に係わるコストが実施以前のおよそ２／３
から時にはｌ／２位に迄低減するという著効を見た。
この様な著効の発生は、本例で用いた接着剤が低活性で
ある為、耐着させ易く且つ適度に含侵する事により鳥羽
片の、指定した、切断されたる羽軸端近傍の組織をうま
く固結せしめている事によるものと思われる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １　鳥羽製のバドミントンシャトルコックに於いて、鳥
    羽片の羽軸の切断されたる両先端部分の内、シャトルコ
    ックの頭の側でない側に、断面を主として、接着剤等の
    適当な固着性又は粘着性の物質を付着せしめる事。
