た。(特開昭56−104629号公報参照) 〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕 そこで本発明は前記欠点を除くため、補助回転
ブラシ端面と本体側壁間に弾性材から成るシール
体を間挿させて、更に直接前記シール体への糸屑
絡まりを押えるための防止突起を吸口本体内側壁
部に設けた構成として、間隙間に従来起生した糸
屑侵入により負荷増加による回転数低下等を解消
し、回転ブラシとシール体が摺動によるずれを起
こさずに支障なく回転し、シール体による糸屑侵
入防止が常時最良状態で発揮出来るようにしたじ
ゆうたん用電動式吸口を提供するにある。

クト7等を備え、下面前部には吸込口9および補
助回転吸込口11を開口し、後部にはこれら吸込
口9とダクト7を通じて連通されていて、かつこ
の本体の前後方向に回転自在に接続されている接
続管13が設置されている。該接続管13はクラ
ンブ部(図示せず)により掃除機本体に連続する
延長管(図示せず)に連結されるようになつてい
る。主回転ブラシ体2および補助回転ブラシ4
は、軸受8を介して吸口本体下面前部の吸込口9
および補助吸込口11に支持されている。主回転
ブラシ体2の一端部には大プーリ15が形成さ
れ、電動機5の小ブーリ17からベルト19を介
して動力が伝達される。大プーリ15側端部には
ブラシ体を貫く一体のブラシ体軸6が長く突出し
ており端部は含油合金等より成る平軸受で支持さ
れ、この平軸受は軸受カバー(図示せず)を介し
て吸口本体1の保持ケース(図示せず)内に保持
されている。次に第1〜2図をおりこみながら説
明すると主回転ブラシ体2の反プーリ側も同様に
ブラシ体軸6が長く突出しておりボールベアリン
グでなる軸受8が主回転ブラシ体2の端部に圧入
支持され外面に軸受カバー10を嵌挿し突出しリ
ブ12により軸受カバー10を抱合支持する。ブ
ラシ体軸6は軸受8端面よりネジ部14が突出し
ており、このネジ部14に補助回転ブラシ4がナ
ツト16により締付け支持される。当該補助回転
ブラシ4の端部外周18には略円錐形状のゴム又
は軟質の塩化ビニル等の弾性材から成るシール体
20を固着し、シール体20との回転すり合せで
あるため、摩擦抵抗の大きい樹脂製より成る吸口
本体1の内側壁35に摩擦抵抗の軽減を目的とし
ての金属板24を設置し、補助吸込口方向折曲部
25を補助回転ブラシ4に当らぬ程度に適当に内
側に折曲げるとともにシール体20の外周部が折
曲げ部分に当接しないようにし金属板24の一部
に爪を設けて吸口本体に嵌着支持し前記シール体
20の外周部26を前記金属板24面に均等に接
触するすり合せ構造としている。前記シール体2

止のためにシール体の外方で、吸口本体の内側壁

折曲部25によるほずれ糸のほぐれ効果により糸
の破断作用が期待出来、これにより数拾センチの
長い糸によりシール体20のリツプ部が絞られて
いく現象はなくシール体20の破損及び糸だまり
の阻止が可能となり性能向上が大幅に計られる。
