    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 給紙方向とその短手力向が一致するように給紙台に載置
    された用紙のサイズを長手力向の長さに基づいて検知す
    る給紙装置において、用紙の短手力向の襄さを検出する
    検出手段を給紙台に設け、長手力向の長さが同じで短手
    力向の長さが異なる用紙を判別できることを特徴とする
    給紙装置。
