Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the filtrating performance of a centrifugal oil filter which has a simpler construction by having a closed chamber made up of a back plate, separating an oil passage from other elements by use of a partition wall and communicating the resultant oil passages, which are on both sides of said wall, with the closed chamber. CONSTITUTION:A fixed face 8 which is stuck to a drive shaft and a movable face 9 that can be slid in the axial direction are arranged opposedly to each other. A back plate 15 covers the rear part of a housing 11, whereby defining a closed chamber 18. An oil passage 2 which passes through the internal center of the drive shaft 1 is divided by a partition wall 21 which is mounted at a position corresponding to that of a ramp plate 12. The resultant oil passages 2 at both sides of said wall 21 are communicated with a closed chamber 18 which is formed in front of and at the rear of the ramp plate 12. A centrifugal oil filter which is of a simpler constitution may therefore be provided with higher filtrating performance.

を増大することなく、コンパクトに、低コストで遠心オ
イルフィルタを装備でき、Vベルト自動変速機を備えた
エンジンなどの潤滑機能を向上する効果があ°る。

なることを特徴とする遠心オイルフイルタ。
