受け、いずれにしても果実は傷み易い。特に大粒
となる雑柑にあつては傷みも激しく、且つ選果能
率も低下するものである。

記選果ドラムに代えプレート式を採るものも提案
されているが(実公昭56−41813号公報)、これ等
のプレートは、選果孔が単に選果プレートの中央
に穿つた1枚プレートで、従つてこの支持も一端
に配する1本の支軸へ枢着されたものである。こ
の種の1枚プレートにおいては、一旦嵌まつた果
実は選果孔より抜け出しにくい。このため、選果
プレートの垂下位置に抜き出し用の加圧体を備
え、実質的に果実を痛める結果となる。又、下方
に配す引出しベルトとの設置位置が、少なくとも
選果プレートの長さより大とせねば垂下時に接衝
を起すため、必然的に落差が大で落下衝撃も大と
なる欠点を有し、実用的にはまだほど遠いものと
なつている。

ターン面側への移行時に開放せる一対のプレート
部が確実に自動的に折畳まれ、且つ該重錘兼垂下
案内駒を階段状選果段部を配すガイド杆に対する
摺動駒としたことにより、選果プレート自体に直
接摺動摩擦を受けることなく、該選果プレートが
長期使用に耐えるものとなる。
