Abstract

PURPOSE:To save mold-changing hour and transfer a delicate pattern to a molded piece by fixing a hard, corrugated and detachable pattern plate of thermoplastic resin, free from deformation at molding temperature and molding pressure on part or the whole of the molding surface of a male or female mold base. CONSTITUTION:An undercut section 2 is provided on the mold base 1 to insert pattern plates 3, 4, which are held by holdfasts 5 through screws 6 etc. Woody molds, metallic molds, resin molds, plaster molds, etc. used in general pressure molding are applied to the mold base. The male mold or the female mold can be suitable for the mold base. If the pattern plate is detachable, the mold base can be used in common for the pattern plate in spite of the shape or the size of the mold base. The thermoplastic resin plate which does not cause deformation of pattern due to molding temperature and pressure molding is suitable as the hard pattern plate. For example, glass plates, metallic plates, thermosetting plates, slate, ceramics, etc. are engraved for use. When the pattern plate is fixed, it is necessary that replacement and detachment are easy and no removal and no displacement of the pattern plate is caused easily by pressure molding.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (1) Industrial Application Field The present invention relates to a method for pressure forming a thermoplastic resin. 0(9) Conventional technology related to a method for forming a shape pattern Conventionally, in pressure molding of a thermoplastic resin plate, an uneven pattern and/or a three-dimensional image (abbreviated as a "picture") is formed on the surface of a molded product. When molding, a method has been used in which the pattern is engraved on the molding surface of a male or female mold blank, and the mold is molded using a mold in which the mold blank and the pattern are integrated. However, in recent years, there has been a strong trend toward high-mix, low-volume production of air-formed products such as lighting covers, and there has also been a strong demand for faster development of new products. .

Under these circumstances, if we prepared one mold for each 1li product as in the past, the mold manufacturing costs would be high, and it would take a long time to manufacture the molds, and we would not be able to meet market demands. Furthermore, the loss of mold change time associated with switching to a different product during molding cannot be ignored.

Furthermore, when engraving m#lI designs such as flowers and plants into commonly used wooden molds, resin molds, or plaster molds, the material is soft and easy to carve, and the carving itself is difficult. However, problems such as compressed air molding crushes the shaggy engraved parts and makes it difficult to shape the molded product faithfully occur. By producing only one mold and the desired pattern board, it is possible to easily mold many kinds of patterned molded products, it eliminates the loss of mold change time, and it is delicate. The purpose of the present invention is to faithfully form a pattern into a molded product.Structure of the Invention The present invention is directed to forming a part or entire molding surface of a male mold or female mold blank in pressure molding of a thermoplastic resin plate. Attaching a removable pattern plate having a hard uneven pattern and/or a three-dimensional image that does not deform due to the molding temperature and pressure of the thermoplastic resin plate forms the pattern on a part or the entire surface of the molded product. The present invention relates to a method for molding a patterned molded product, which is characterized by the following.

The mold base used in the method of the present invention may be a wooden mold, metal mold, resin mold, two plaster molds, etc. used in general pressure molding, and may be either a male mold or a female mold, and the pattern plate is removable. As much as possible, even if the shapes and sizes of the mold materials are different, the mold materials can be used in common for the pattern board. The hard pattern board may be made of any material that does not deform the pattern due to the molding temperature and pressure molding of the thermoplastic resin board, such as glass plates, metal plates, thermosetting resin plates, slate, ceramics, etc. engraved. The shape of the pattern board may be a flat plate or one with curvature, but it must be able to be attached to the mold base and have a shape and thickness that will not be damaged by air pressure forming. The method of attaching and fixing the pattern board is to replace and remove it. It is easy to use and can be easily removed by pressure molding as long as it does not shift in position. For example, attachment methods using commercially available double-sided adhesive tapes, adhesives, magnets, etc., and methods by fitting can be cited.

In addition, it took 15 days to make the mold and 5 days to make the picture board (■), and it took about 20 days to complete the project from planning to commercialization of the lighting cover (however, the picture board (■) was made using a ready-made product). ) However, it took three months to make a new mold in which the savage-like picture board and the mold were integrated. Effects of the Invention According to the method of the present invention, There is no need to create molds for each product design; if you only make one mold base and the desired design board, you can mold many types of molded products with patterns by replacing the design board, and you can change the design of the molded product. There is no need to change the mold each time, and changes can be made by simply replacing the pattern board while the mold body is still attached to the molding machine, reducing mold production costs, shortening the mold production period, and shortening the time for changing types. Since it can be easily shortened, it can be said that this forming method is especially suitable for high-mix, low-volume production. Also, if you want to shape a pattern engraved on a nearby glass plate into a lighting cover, you can use the glass plate. By cutting it to a predetermined size, attaching it to a square mold, and molding it, you can instantly obtain a lighting cover with the pattern of the glass plate formed on it.
