(Background of the Invention) Power transmission line towers are exposed to wind and rain in the open air, and are subject to severe corrosion. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly apply anti-rust coating. Painting of power transmission line towers is carried out at high places and in electrically hazardous areas. Conventionally, such painting was done by constructing the work site by constructing scaffolding or stringing safety ropes at strategic points on the tower. Painting work was carried out while moving around the work site, holding onto ropes while holding brushes and paint containers. However, this method requires transporting construction materials such as scaffolding to the site, hoisting them onto the steel tower, attaching them to the tower, and dismantling and transporting them after the work is completed, which is not only inefficient but also extremely costly. This required material and transportation costs. Moreover, safety was not sufficient, and in reality, painting work was always done after a power outage near live power lines. In particular, this type of power transmission line tower has been increasing in size in recent years as the transmission voltage has increased, so the conventional method described above has been forced to build larger and more sturdy scaffolding, etc. The above-mentioned drawbacks are becoming more and more noticeable.

(Purpose and Overview) Therefore, the present invention has been made for the purpose of providing a painting tool that enables the painting of steel towers to be carried out safely and efficiently with light work without constructing the above-mentioned scaffolding etc. . To this end, the present invention provides a painted part consisting of a painted body such as a brush having a shape that conforms to and contacts the surface of a member constituting a steel tower at the tip of an operating rod made of an electrically insulating material, and By installing a paint tank that supplies paint and operating the air pump operating tool while holding the operating rod, the worker can perform painting work on the tower while pumping the paint in the paint tank to the painting area. This is what I did. In addition, this type of painting work performed on steel towers is performed with the operating rod pointing upwards or downwards, so no matter which direction the operating rod is oriented, paint can be reliably delivered from the paint tank to the painted area. Must be able to deliver. For this purpose, in the present invention, the paint tank is made into a long shape and installed along the length of the operating rod, and the paint tank has valves on both sides inside thereof that communicate with the paint pouring pipe. A mouth is formed, so that the paint in the paint tank can be reliably fed to the painting section regardless of whether the operating rod is oriented upward or downward.

The operator pulls up the painting tool onto the tower, holds the rear end of the operating rod 1 while standing on the step bolt of the tower, and fits the painting part 2 onto the member 4 as described above. (see figure). Next, when you hold the operating tool 15 in your hand and perform a compression operation, air is forced into the paint tank 5 through the air pump 12 and air pipe 13, and the air pressure sends the paint in the paint tank 5 through the pipe 7 to the painting section 2. and is discharged onto the surface of the member 4 from the tips of the spouting pipes 7a, 7b. Then, the operator applies paint to the surface of the member 4 by sliding the brush 2b of the coating section 2 along the member 4 while keeping it in contact with the member 4 while pushing and pulling the operating rod 1.

When painting the upper member 4 with the operating rod 1 facing upward, the lower liquid feeding port 9 is opened and the upper liquid feeding port 11 is closed, as shown in FIG. 4a. The air pressure of the air pumped from 13 is applied to the liquid level of the paint tank 5, and the paint is fed from the liquid feed port 9 through the pipe 8 to the coating section 2. Also, with the operating rod 1 facing downward, the lower member 4
When painting, as shown in Fig. 4b, in contrast to the above, the liquid feed port 9 is closed and the liquid feed port 11 is opened, and the air pressure applied to the liquid surface causes the paint to flow through the liquid feed port. 11, passes through pipes 10, 8, and 7, and is sent to the coating section 2.

(Other Embodiments) FIG. 5 shows a coated part applied when the member constructing the power transmission line tower is an angle member with a hook-shaped cross section. The frame bodies are a key-shaped frame body 21a and a frame body 21.
It consists of a key-shaped frame 21b rotatably connected to the frame 21a by a pin 22, and brushes 21c and 21d are attached to the inner surface of each frame 2.
The tips of pouring pipes 23a, 23b, 23c, and 23d connected to the pipe 7 are attached to 1a and 21b. The angle material 20 is sandwiched between the frame bodies 21a and 21b, and the frame bodies 21a and 21b are fixed to each other with bolts and nuts 24, so that the brushes 21c and 21b are brought into contact with the surface of the angle material 20. Such a painted part 21 is made of angle material 20
Although it has the disadvantage that it is more troublesome to attach and detach it than the first embodiment, it has the advantage that the entire surface of the angle material 20 can be coated at once.
