Such bay windows were provided due to the need for double-glazed windows in cold regions, but conventional bay windows have an upper horizontal frame, a lower horizontal frame, and a vertical frame that make up the window frame of the bay window. Since the frames are formed from separate frame materials, that is, frame materials with different cross-sectional shapes, the manufacturing cost is inevitably high.

Next, to explain how to install the window frame 3 and inner window frame 5 of the bay window 1 described above, first, before forming the outer wall 4 of the building, attach the inner window frame 5 to the outer end side of the building window opening 2. Attach the. That is, the upper and lower horizontal frames 15, 16 and the left and right vertical frames 17, which constitute the inner window frame 5,
flange 15 provided on the inner edge of each of 17;
b, 16b, 17b, 17b are attached and fixed to the outer ends of the lintel 7, window sill 6, columns 8, 8, etc. with screws 19 and nails 20, and then the building exterior wall 4 is formed. After the inner window frame 5 is attached to the outer end of the building window opening 2 in this way, the base end of the window frame 3 of the bay window 1 is externally fitted to the inner window frame 5, and the window frame 3 The projecting pieces f and the mounting pieces i provided at the base ends of the upper and lower horizontal frames 9, 10 and the left and right vertical frames 11, 11 constituting the building are brought into contact with the outer surface of the building outer wall 4, and the building outer wall 4 is fixed with nails 21 or the like. Attach and fix the L-shaped connecting fitting 22 and screw 2.
3, the lower horizontal frame 16 of the inner window frame 5 and the lower horizontal frame 10 of the window frame 3 are connected and fixed. In this way, the window frame 3 of the bay window 1 is attached to the window opening 2 by the so-called external attachment method.

Figures 3 and 4 show other embodiments of the present invention. Whereas the previous embodiments showed inner and outer double windows made of extruded aluminum, this embodiment This window has an inner window frame made of a non-metallic material with low conductivity, and is further provided with another inner window frame on the indoor side of the inner window frame, if necessary. The bay window shown in this embodiment has the same structure as the bay window 1 of the previous embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, so the same reference numerals are used in FIGS. 3 and 4. However, detailed explanation thereof will be omitted. 3 and 4, reference numeral 24 indicates the base end side of the bay window 1 and the building window opening 25.
An inner window frame installed on the outer edge side of the upper and lower horizontal frames 2

They are each formed to have the same cross-sectional shape, and on the lower surface of the upper horizontal frame 26 is a sliding door rail frame 2 made of synthetic resin such as vinyl chloride.
9 is attached with screws 30, and sliding shoji 31, 31 are fitted to the rails 29a, 29b of this rail frame 29 and the protruding strips 27a, 27b of the lower horizontal frame 27, respectively. The shoji 31, 31 and the window frame 24 constitute an inner window. Reference numeral 32 designates another inner window frame that is fitted and fixed on the indoor side of the inner window frame 24 in the building window opening 25, and the upper and lower horizontal frames 3

When installing the aluminum window frame 3, the synthetic resin inner window frame 24, and the other inner window frame 32 of the bay window 1, first, the inside of the base end of the aluminum window frame 3 is attached. The outer end of the synthetic resin inner window frame 24 is hooked and fitted, and the sliding door rail frame 29 is attached to the lower surface of the upper horizontal frame 26 of the inner window frame 24, and the window frame 3 and the inner window frame 24 are connected with screws 30. Furthermore, after interconnecting the rail frames 29, a support frame 36 having a substantially L-shaped cross section is externally fitted to the inner end of the inner window frame 24, and the support frame 3
6 to the base end of the overhang window frame 3 with screws 37, thereby connecting the overhang window frame 3 and the inner window frame 24.
and a support frame 36, and the base end of this unit frame is connected to the lintel 38, the window sill 39, and the left and right pillars 4 that partition the building window opening 25.
0 and 40 and fixed with screws 41, and further fitted into the window opening 25 of another inner window frame 32 from inside the building and fixed with screws 42. Incidentally, such installation of the window frames 3, 24, 32 is mainly done at the same time when a new building is constructed.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the overhang window frame is composed of the upper and lower horizontal frames and the left and right vertical frames, and the upper and lower horizontal frames and the left and right vertical frames are each made to have the same cross-sectional shape, and all the four peripheral frames have the same frame. This makes it ideal for mass production, and the manufacturing cost of the window frame can be much lower than that of conventional window frames. Since the window frame is made into a shape, it is possible to obtain a strong and robust window frame. And since the sliding door rail frame is attached to the bottom side of the upper horizontal frame,
By forming a pair of protruding strips on the inner surface of each frame in advance, the sliding door shoji can be easily fitted into the window frame.
