成することによつて成形性を与え、第3図に示す
ような凸型部分3Aを配した下型3と、該凸型部
分3Aに対応する形状の凹型部分4Aを配した上
型4とからなるプレス成形型によつて押圧成形す
るものである。この際、カーペツト1を支持する
ため、カーペツト1の周縁を第3図に示すように
把手5,5のような支持機構によつて支持する
か、もしくは作業者の手によつて支持する。この
ようにカーペツト1周縁を支持する際、把手や作
業者の手がプレス成形型にはさみこまれないよう
にするため、カーペツト1の周縁をプレス成形型
から大巾にはみ出させて支持代1D,1Dを設け
なくてはならない。支持代1D,1Dは成形後裁
断され廃棄せられるものである。

下型3間で円滑に所定形状に適応しうるようにな
り該引張り力によるカーペツト1の破損は防止出
来る。かくしてカーペツト1は第1図に示す形状
に成形される。

成形され、引張り力のために破損するようなこと
