この発明は、惰走可能なパレツトの搬送におい
て、可動枠に高速駆動ローラと低速駆動ローラと
を一つのモータによつて連動させ、切換用作動装
置を以て可動枠を作動させることによつて、高速
駆動、低速駆動および無駆動の三つの状態を得る
ことができるようにしたパレツト駆動ユニツトを
パレツトの進路に沿つて配設し、パレツト停止後
の再発進を高速で、またパレツト停止前の低速お
よび惰走への切換えを簡便に行い、ストツパなど
によるパレツト停止時の衝撃を大いに軽減できる

一つのモータ12を共用してプーリ10は高速度
に、同時に他方のプーリ11は低速度に回転させ
るようになす。したがつて、可動枠5を支軸4を
中心に一方に傾ければ(第5図)高速用ローラ
8がパレツト1の下面に圧接するから、パレツト
1は速く送られ、反対に他方に傾ければ(第5図
)低速用ローラ9がパレツト1の下面に接触す
るから、パレツト1は遅い速度で送られるように
切換えができ、さらに可動枠5を中立位置に保て
ば(第5図)両ローラ8,9はいずれもパレツ
ト1の下面と接触しない離隔状態に保たれるから
無駆動の状態となる。そのため中立状態になる
と、これと関連してスイツチが開いてモータ12
への通電を遮断し、電力の消費を節約するように

停止状態に作動すると、これと連動してストツパ
手前にある駆動ユニツトDの駆動器15が作動し
て可動枠5を第4図鎖線を以て示す如く切換え変
位させて、高速用ローラ8を下げ、低速用ローラ
9を上げるから、今まで高速用ローラ8によつて
速い速度で搬送されて来たパレツト1は、ここに
おいて低速用ローラ9に接し、その進行速度を滑
らかに減速し、最終的にストツパ直前のユニツト
Dは可動枠5を中立状態に変位させるので、両ロ
ーラ8,9は共にパレツト下面から離間し、惰走
するパレツト1は静かにストツパsに当つて静止
する。またこのパレツト1が再発進する場合に
は、ストツパの解除と関連して可動枠5は高速用
ローラ8がパレツト下面に接するようになるの
で、パレツトを急速に発進させることができる。
なお、以上の如く駆動器15,16の作動による
可動枠5の変位、駆動モータ12の停、動はスト
ツパsの動作と電気的に関連して行うように設計

易に構成することができるし、コンベア幅もパレ
ツトの大きさに適応して自由に変更することが可
能な便宜がある。その上、パレツチ1の搬送につ
いて、ユニツトDは高速用ローラ8と低速用ロー
ラ9とを備え、これを共通のモータ12によつて
同時に駆動および停転を図るようにし、しかも、
これらローラ8,9を切換用作動装置を以て三様
の位置に切換えられるように構成したから、パレ
ツト1の高速送り、低速送りおよび無駆動状態に
なすことができ、したがつて高速度で進行して来
たパレツト1を停止に当つて先ず低速に滑らかに
減速し、最終的には惰性を以て静かにストツパに
当つて停止する如く停止の際の衝撃を大いに軽減
することができる特色があるとともに、停止後急
速な再発進も可能である。また、パレツト停止中
は駆動力を零にすることもできるし、駆動ユニツ
トDの装置は必要に応じて増減し、その配置場所
も自由に選べるし、ユニツトDは駆動の役目を果
すだけで、パレツト停止は動力を徒費しない関係
などから全体として省エネルギーにも役立ち、し
かも駆動ユニツトDは構成簡単であるから、コン

三様の選択位置に保持し得るように構成したパレ
ツト駆動ユニツトを、パレツトの進路に沿つてコ
ンベアフレーム内に適当に配設したことからなる
