沿つた弧状に形成され、その周縁部には自動車屋
根上面を密着するゴム製縁材3を周回状に被着し
てなる。ガラス繊維強化プラスチツクにより〓状
に形成し内部を中空とすることは軽量化を可能と
する。またゴム製縁材3は自動車屋根上面への密
着性を良くすると共に屋根上面に傷付けるのを防
ぐ。荷台本体1の上面には荷物荷重を受止する帯
状のゴムパツト5が車幅方向に長手に貼着されて
いる。該ゴムパツトの上面は滑り止め用に細幅の
凹凸ストライプが形成されている。また該荷台本
体の上面の該ゴムパツト5の隣りに同じく車幅方
向に延びる一定幅の凹溝6を形成し、該凹溝6中
に荷物を縛るためのゴムバンド7が収容できるよ
うにする。8,8……は凹溝6の一側に間隔的に
設けられた複数の中間フツクで、該中間フツクは
第4図にも示したように側面略コ字形を呈しその
基板部9を凹溝6底部にビス10により固着し、
上方鉤状部11がゴムバンド7上に横架状に延在
するように取付ける。凹溝6は荷台本体1の両端
部の斜面12にわたつて形成され、該斜面12の
凹溝6中に第5図に示したような鉤状の引掛金具
13をビス止めする。ゴムバンド7は両端部に滑
り止め用の凹凸を形成した把持部14が設けら
れ、その内側には前記引掛金具13が掛着できる
長孔15が開設されている。中間パイプよりなる
連結軸2の両端は荷台本体1の傾斜した一側壁に
嵌合され、荷台本体内でビス16により固定され
る。17はその嵌合孔の開口縁に被せたゴムリン
グを示す。18は各連結軸2に夫々摺動自在に挿
通した一対の取付金具で該取付金具18は下面が
開口しておりそこから鉤状の係合フツク19が外
下方に突出している。取付金具18の上面から該
取付金具内に貫挿された取付ネジ20は係合フツ
ク19の基端部に螺合している。
