としてなされた自動車用ルーフ荷台で、上面にス
キー板、サーフインボード等の荷物を乗架できる
車幅方向に長い平面略長方形状の荷台本体の上面
に該荷物を縛るゴムバンドおよびその引掛金具を
設けると共に、該荷台本体は縦断面、横断面共に
下面が開口した略〓状であつてその周縁部を自動
車屋根の湾曲面に沿つた弧状に形成し、かつ該周
縁部に自動車屋根上面に密着するゴム製縁材を設
け、該荷台本体を自動車屋根上面の前後位置に間
隔を置いて一対に配置し、該両荷台本体の両端部
を中空パイプよりなる一対の平行な連結軸によつ
て互いに連結し、該連結軸に取付金具を軸方向に
摺動自在に設け、該取付金具には自動車屋根両側
縁に係合する鉤状の係合フツクを延設してなるこ
とを特徴とするものである。

に形成し内部を中空とすることは軽量化を可能と
する。またゴム製縁材3は自動車屋根上面への密
着性を良くすると共に屋根上面に傷付けるのを防
ぐ。荷台本体1の上面には荷物荷重を受止する帯
状のゴムパツト5が車幅方向に長手に貼着されて
いる。該ゴムパツトの上面は滑り止め用に細幅の
凹凸ストライプが形成されている。また該荷台本
体の上面の該ゴムパツト5の一側に沿い一定幅の
凹溝6が形成され、該凹溝中に荷物を縛るための
ゴムバンド7が収容位置せられている。8,8…
は該凹溝にビス9により間隔的に止着された中間
フツクで、該中間フツクの鉤状起立部8′をゴム
バンド7上に横架状に延在させる。凹溝6は荷台
本体1両端の斜面部10にわたり形成され、該斜
面部の凹溝6中に引掛金具11を設ける。ゴムバ
ンド7は両端部に滑り止め用の凹凸を形成した把
持部12が設けられ、その内側には前記引掛金具
11が掛着できる長孔13が開設されている。中
空パイプよりなる連結軸2の両端は荷台本体1の
傾斜した一側壁に嵌合され、荷台本体内でビス1
4により固定される。15はその嵌合孔の開口縁
に被せたゴムリングを示す。16は各連結軸2に
夫々摺動自在に挿通した一対の取付金具で、その
挿通孔の開口縁にゴムリング17が被せられ連結
軸2外周面との隙間を塞ぎガタを防ぐと共に無用
な摺動を阻止している。取付金具16は下面が開
口しておりそこから鉤状の係合フツク18が外下
方に突出している。取付金具16の上面から該取
付金具内に貫通された取付ネジ19は係合フツク
18の基端部に開設した長孔20を貫通しナツト
21に螺合している。

で車種に合わせサイドバイザー等の邪魔になるこ
となく取付できる効果がある。
