Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the working efficiency and material effecienty of terminal end treatment of a sheet-like material, by utilizing a high-frequency welder to form a trimmed section. CONSTITUTION:PCV sol 30 is charged into a recess 13 in an insulation die 12. Then a carpet 31 is set on the insulation die 12. Next an upper die 20 is lowered to set a convex part 22 of an electrode 21 on the terminal end of the carpet 31. In this condition a high-frequency wave electrical field is extablished between electrodes 11, 21. With this arrangement mirco-powder particles in the PVC sol are dissolved and melted together with a liquid plastic material, which is then welded to the carpet. After the melted material is solidified, a trimmed part 33 is formed, and thereafter the upper die 20 is raised to take up the carpet 30. The carpet 30 after terminal end treatment is provided with the annular trimmed section 33 at its terminal end part, and therefore, after napping, the borders of bristles thereon may be lined up, thereby an ornamental effect may be given to the carpet 30.

(Prior Art) Various methods have been developed for end treatment of sheet materials used for automobile interiors, etc.For example,
There is a method in which annular PvC sheets are sewn around the entire circumference of the end portion of a carpella (sheet-like material) to form a border. However, this method requires sewing work, resulting in poor workability.

また、カーペットの上にこれよりやや広いPV。Also, there is a slightly wider PV on the carpet.

By overlapping the C sheets and welding the entire circumference of the end portion of the carpet to the corresponding PVC sheet using a high-frequency welder, a edging portion is formed, and the center portion of the PvC sheet is separated and removed (there is also a method). Although this method improved workability, material efficiency was very poor because the wide center part of the PvC sheet was discarded.

(Means for solving the problems) The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and its gist is that the four parts formed on the lower mold of a high-frequency welder are heated by a high-frequency electric field. Fill the material in an amorphous state that can be melted, place the end part of the sheet-like material on top of this, move the two molds of the high-frequency welder relative to the lower mold, and apply a high-frequency electric field to the edges. A method for processing the ends of a sheet-like article is provided.

(Example) First, an example of a high frequency welder for carrying out the method of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the figure, 1 ( ) is a lower mold, and 20 is an upper mold. The lower mold 10 includes an electrode 11 and an insulating mold 1 made of silicon, for example, placed on the electrode 11.
2. On the upper surface side of the insulating mold 12, four shallow annular portions 13 are formed. The four parts 13 have a planar shape corresponding to the outer shape of the lower part of the door trim 40 as shown in FIG. 3, for example. At the bottom of the concave portion 13, minute irregularities 14 forming a diaphragm pattern are formed. Also,
On the upper surface side of the insulating mold 12, a recess 15 is formed in a region surrounded by the recess 13. The recess 15 is formed deeper than the recess 13.

The method of the present invention is carried out using the above-mentioned high frequency welder. First, the recess 13 of the insulating mold 12 is filled with P■C sol 30 (an amorphous material that can be melted by a high-frequency electric field). Note that the PVC sol 30 is made by mixing P V Ci powder in a liquid plastic material.

After filling the PVC sol 30, a carpet 31 (sheet-shaped material) is placed on the insulation mold 12. At this time, the carpet 31 has the raised nap 32 on the lower side, the end portions of the carpet 31 are located in the recess 13 along the entire circumference, and the center portion is located in the recess 15. Note that the end portion of the carpet 31 does not cover the entire area of the four portions 13, but covers a portion closer to the center of the recessed portion 13.

After this, the upper mold 20 is raised and the carpet 3 ( ) is taken out. The carpet 30 after the end treatment has a structure in which an annular edging part 33 is provided at the end part, so that fraying of the end part can be prevented, and the hairline of the nap 32 can be made even, so that a decorative effect can be obtained. In addition, the edging part 3
3 has a shibori pattern, so the decorative effect can be further enhanced.
