A pattern layer 2 is formed by laminating the surface layer 1.
The pattern layer 2 provides the main part of the pattern to the patterned molded body, and is mainly composed of a sheet 2' on which a pattern has been applied by printing, painting, bleaching, etc. The sheet 2' is preferably made of acrylic resin film, polyethylene resin film, polyester resin nonwoven fabric, glass mat, glass cloth, etc., and is preferably made into a perforated sheet to prevent air bubbles from remaining.
In the case of a resin film, a large number of perforations are provided so that even a large molded product can be easily defoamed.

The sheet 2' constituting the pattern layer 2 is made of a material that is transparent or translucent so that the pattern does not give a flat impression, at least when it is formed into a patterned body. Therefore, the sheet 2' may appear opaque when taken out alone. In addition, if the sheet 2' is made of a synthetic resin film or nonwoven fabric, even if the surface layer 1 or the synthetic resin for pasting partially or completely dissolves or swells, the pattern will not lose its shape in the middle of the pattern layer 2. It is fine as long as it remains.

Next, an intermediate layer 3 made of transparent or translucent synthetic resin is laminated. As the synthetic resin in the intermediate layer 3, a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin is used. When the thickness of the intermediate layer 3 exceeds 0.8 mm, it is preferable to provide fiber reinforcement. Known reinforcing fibers are used, and commonly used glass fibers include chopped strands, chopped strand mats, glass rovings, and glass cloth. The intermediate layer 3 made of a transparent or translucent synthetic resin is formed by spraying a liquid composition or stacking matte materials to defoam and harden. The thickness of the intermediate layer 3 determines the depth of the pattern.

When the patterned molded article of the present invention is viewed from the surface, the pattern layer 2 is visible through the surface layer 1 made of a transparent or translucent synthetic resin. In the pattern layer 2, a colored pattern portion 7 with a high degree of concealment and a color pattern portion 9 with an intermediate degree of concealment formed on the patterned seal 2' are visible. The color pattern portion 9 having an intermediate degree of concealment appears to stand out due to the color 10 having a high degree of concealment superimposed on the back side. The color pattern portion 8 with a low degree of concealment other than the color pattern portion 7 with a high degree of concealment and the portion where the color 10 with a high degree of concealment is formed is almost transparent,
Furthermore, an opaque colored back layer 4 is visible through the intermediate layer 3 made of transparent or semi-transparent synthetic resin therebelow. Therefore, due to the phase difference between the color pattern portion 7 of the pattern layer 2 having a high degree of concealment, the color pattern portion 9 having an intermediate degree of concealment backed by the color 10 having a high degree of concealment, and the opaque colored back layer 4, the pattern is It creates depth and can give the appearance of a three-dimensional structure that cannot be obtained with conventional patterned molded objects. In other words, the patterned molded article of the present invention has great utility as a building material with patterns on granite, marble, and natural wood. In addition, the color pattern portion 8 with a low degree of concealment does not overlap with the color 10 with a high degree of concealment.
In addition to the color of the opaque colored back layer 4, the surface layer 1 made of a transparent or semi-transparent synthetic resin, the colored pattern portion 9 with a low degree of concealment, the pattern layer 2 itself, and the transparent or semi-transparent synthetic resin. The color that combines the middle layer 3 is visible. When the patterned molded object is large or three-dimensional, such as a bathtub, it becomes necessary to add the patterned sheet 2'. The overlapping portions of the patterned sheets 2' will be darker in color than other portions, unless the pattern on the front sheet 2' is completely hidden. In the present invention, the colored pattern portion 9 having an intermediate degree of concealment is overlaid with the color 10 having a high degree of concealment, so that the overlapping seam between the sheets 2', 2' becomes less noticeable.

In a preferred configuration of the present invention, a colored portion 11 that increases the degree of concealment is formed on at least one of the joint portions of the patterned sheets 2', 2'. Therefore, in the overlapping portion of the sheets 2', 2', the color pattern portion 8 with a low degree of concealment becomes the color of the colored portion 11, which increases the degree of concealment, and the color pattern portion 8, which has a low degree of concealment. The surface layer 1, the pattern layer 2, and the intermediate layer made of transparent or translucent synthetic resin in the colored pattern area 8 which is mostly hidden by the overlapping part of sheets 2' and has a low degree of concealment in the areas where sheets 2' and 2' do not overlap. The color approximates the combined color of the opaque colored back layer 4 serving as the layer 3 and the colored pattern portion 8 with a low degree of concealment, so that the overlapping portion of the sheets 2', 2' becomes less noticeable. In this way, it is possible to avoid giving the impression of being a poor combination of fragments.

(Example) A transparent resin consisting of a vinyl ester resin curing agent and a low shrinkage agent was sprayed onto a preheated synthetic resin mold coated with a mold release agent, and cured to form a surface layer 1 with a thickness of 0.3 mm. Formed. Next, a transparent adhesive resin consisting of a vinyl ester resin, a curing agent, and a low shrinkage agent was applied to a thickness of 0.4 mm using a roller, and a patterned acrylic resin sheet 2' having a thickness of 20 μm was spliced and pasted. This sheet 2' has a large number of degassing holes, and a degassing roller is rolled to defoam and at the same time, the resin is distributed to the back side of the sheet 2' to harden the resin and form the pattern layer 2. Formed. The acrylic resin sheet 2' is coated with a vinyl chloride-acrylic resin ink to form a black color pattern area 7 with a high degree of concealment, a color pattern area 9 with a brown color having an intermediate degree of concealment, and a light gray color with a low degree of concealment. After the pattern portion 8 is formed, an opaque color 10 containing titanium white as a main component is coated over the entire colored pattern portion 9 having an intermediate degree of concealment and 30% of the color pattern portion 8 having a low degree of concealment. ′, 2′ overlap the edge of one sheet 2′.
A colored portion 11 was formed to increase the degree of concealment of the cream color of the 15 mm vinyl chloride-acrylic resin ink.

Since the patterned molded article of the present invention and its molding method have the above-described structure, the colored pattern portion with a high degree of hiding, the color pattern portion with an intermediate degree of hiding, the color pattern portion with a low degree of hiding, and the opaque colored back layer. An extremely beautiful color pattern area with a high degree of concealment in which at least three mixed color patterns are appropriately arranged, and a three-dimensional depth due to the phase difference between a color pattern area with an intermediate degree of concealment and a color pattern area with a low degree of concealment. A certain pattern can be formed.
Then, by overlaying a color with a high degree of concealment on the back side of a color pattern part with an intermediate degree of concealment, the color pattern part with a degree of intermediate degree of concealment will be seen more clearly than the front side.
The pattern stands out, and the color pattern area with an intermediate degree of concealment is hidden, and even if sheets with patterns are overlapped and spliced, the color pattern area with an intermediate degree of concealment will be hidden by another intermediate degree of concealment. To prevent a joint part from being noticeable without appearing darker than a colored pattern part.

Furthermore, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a colored portion that increases the degree of concealment is formed on at least one of the overlapping seamed portions of the patterned sheets, so that the overlapped portions of the patterned sheets are formed at least on one side. In , the colored pattern parts with low hiding degree are almost hidden by the colored parts which increase the hiding degree, and the surface layer of the colored pattern parts with low hiding degree other than the overlapping parts of the sheets,
The combined color of the pattern layer, the intermediate layer made of transparent or translucent synthetic resin, and the opaque colored back layer can be approximated, and the seams between the patterned sheets can be made inconspicuous.
In addition, if a color with a high degree of concealment that is overlapped on the back side of a color pattern area with an intermediate degree of concealment is partially spread out of the color pattern area with a degree of intermediate degree of concealment and is partially spread over a color pattern area with a low degree of concealment, the degree of concealment can be reduced. Low color pattern parts are similar 2
The purpose can be almost achieved by adjusting between the two colors the colored part that looks like a color and increases the degree of concealment that is formed on one side of the seamed parts of the patterned sheets.
Color adjustment becomes easy and the pattern can be varied.
