Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively prevent the swashing of the ballast water in a tank by installing a buffer plate whose upper edge is axially supported and lower edge has a buoyancy part, onto the inner wall of the tank. CONSTITUTION:A buffering plate 3 whose upper edge is axially supported and lower edge has a buoyancy part 4 is installed onto the inner wall 15 of a tank 5, and the part over the liquid level in the tank 5 is covered through the buoyancy member 4. Therefore, in rolling, the rise of the wave motion along the side surface of the tank can be suppressed, and the direction of the wave motion can be changed towards the inside of the tank, and swashing phenomenon can be effectively reduced.

Conventional technology It is a well-known practice to pour ballast water into deep tanks in order to make the ship's voyage safer during stormy weather to deepen the water in the ship's hull. It often overflows due to rolling during navigation and becomes half cut. On the other hand, it is more convenient for loading and unloading cargo into the tank if the opening in the tank described above is wide rather than narrowed at the top of the tank.
The hull configuration is also simple. That is, as shown in FIG. 5, the structure of the tank part is a 0PEN BALK CARRI in which a hold opening 1 is formed that is approximately equal to the tank radius in the transverse direction of the ship.
A type called ER is often used, and a hatch cover 2 is often attached to such a hatch 1.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the conventional system as described above, even if the water level in the tank 5 is temporarily set to a fully loaded state, water overflows from the air pipes 16 due to rolling, etc., and the water level drops, resulting in the above-mentioned problem. 5
As shown in the figure, the ballast water in the tank 5 is often in a half-loaded state, and if the vessel is sailed in this half-loaded state, the rolling of the hull 10 can cause the ballast water in the tank to splash up and swat. SW'ASHING) state, a large force pushing up the hatch cover 2 is generated. For this reason, it is necessary to hold down the hatch cover 2 during such stormy weather, and it is necessary to use a specially strengthened hatch cover 2 and to sufficiently increase the strength of the structure for tightening the hatch cover.

Such a structure for increasing the strength naturally requires a large amount of material, which increases the cost. Therefore, the weight of the hull itself also increases, and the fuel consumption for constant voyage inevitably increases.

``Structure of the Invention'' Means for Solving the Problems The present invention was devised to solve the problems of the conventional products as described above. This is a swashing prevention device for a ship, characterized in that a buoyant portion r is provided at the lower end of the inner wall of the buffer plate.

The buffer plate, whose upper end is pivotally supported, is pushed toward the center of the tank according to the liquid level in the tank by a buoyancy section provided at its lower end. In this state, when the water that is trying to swat along the side wall surface of the tank flows upward, it pushes up the lower end of the buffer grating further, joining it to the inner surface of the hatch cover, and the water swaths along the side wall surface of the tank. In addition to changing the flow direction of water, the buffer plate is appropriately bent to guide water into the tank and cause it to fall.

Embodiment A specific embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached figure 1. As shown in FIG. 15 pivots the upper end of the buffer plate 3 to 13
However, a buoyant portion 4 is provided at the lower end of the buffer plate 3 on the inner wall 15 side, and the buffer plate 3 may be arranged in one piece in the length direction of the tank 5. However, as shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of sheets may be arranged in a row.

The above-mentioned buoyant part may be a sponge structural material covered with a film, but in a preferred embodiment, an air bag can be used, and the air bag is appropriately injected and exhausted. That is, this embodiment is as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, in which a pipe 8 from a compressed gas supply source γ provided on the deck is led to a buoyant part 4a, which is an air bag, and is connected to a tank 5.
When the ballast water in the tank reaches a level where swathing is likely to occur, the ballast water is expanded, and this expansion provides sufficient buoyancy, and the lower end of the guard plate 3 is moved toward the center of the tank 5. Make sure you can hang out in the opposite direction.

That is, the virtual lines 3&, 3 of such a buffer plate 3 in FIG.
Since the water that causes the swathing phenomenon due to the overhang shown in b is pushed up against the inner wall 15 of the tank 5, it is possible to effectively push up the buffer plate 3 and use a flexible buffer plate 3. As a result, its lower end contacts the hatch cover 2 and then bends from 3C to 36, allowing the rising water to fall into the tank and greatly reducing the impact on the hatch cover 2. A shock absorbing material 9 made of rubber or the like is provided at the lower end of the buffer plate 3 so as to face the buoyant portion 4 or 4& described above, thereby absorbing the impact when it comes into contact with the edge cover 2. By providing an air release valve in the buoyant part 48 or the pipe 8, which is an air bag, the buoyant part 4a deflates as shown in FIG. can be stored in the tank 5, and will not interfere with loading or other uses of the tank 5.
