Reference numeral 1 denotes a frame inserted into a two-part cover 2, which is approximately U-shaped, and has a connector 3 connected to the body of the automobile via, for example, a wire (not shown) at one end thereof. is attached with studs 4.
Reference numeral 5 denotes a tongue attached to a seat belt (not shown) connected to the vehicle body, and the tip of the tongue 5 is inserted into the frame 1 through a receiving opening 6 formed at the end of the cover 2. Notches 7 are formed as engaging portions on both side edges of the tip. Reference numeral 8 denotes an engagement plate as an engagement member rotatably supported in the frame 1 via a shaft 9 in the vertical direction as shown in the figure.
A claw portion 8a is integrally extended on the opposite shaft 9 side, and a contact portion 8b is integrally extended on the opposite shaft 9 side with a longer protruding length than the claw portion 8a. A cutout step 8c is formed at the center of the outer edge on the shaft 9 side. Reference numeral 10 denotes a lock bar as a locking member inserted and supported in fan-shaped through holes 11, 11 formed in opposite side walls 1a, 1a of the frame 1;
1 and 11, it can be rotated in the left-right direction in the drawing around the upper edge portion. The lower end of the lock bar 10 in the drawing is a locking portion 10a. 12 is a first spring piece 12a which is a first spring member and a second spring piece 12 which is a second spring member.
This is a substantially eight-shaped leaf spring having an integral part b, and its middle bent portion is pivotally connected to a fixing pin 13 installed between both side walls 1a, 1a of the frame 1, and the first spring piece 12a is engaged with the fixing pin 13. It is brought into contact with the lower surface of the plywood 8 in the drawing, and the second spring piece 12b is brought into contact with the right side surface of the lock bar 10 in the drawing. Therefore, the engagement plate 8
is always urged to rotate in the direction of arrow A by the first spring piece 12a, and is always held in a position where it contacts the folded bent portion 1b of the frame 1 (hereinafter referred to as the release position) as shown in FIG. has been done. Further, the lock bar 10 is always moved by the arrow B by the second spring piece 12b.
As shown in FIG. 1, the engagement plate 8 is normally held at a position in contact with the engagement plate 8 which is in the release position (hereinafter referred to as the release position), and the engagement plate 8 is rotated in the opposite direction of arrow A. It is free to rotate. When the tongue 5 is inserted into the frame 1 through the receiving opening 6, the tip of the tongue 5 is inserted into the engagement plate 8.
As a result, the engagement plate 8 is rotated in the opposite direction of arrow A, and the claw 8a is brought into contact with the notch 7 of the tongue 5 as shown in FIG.
When the tongue 5 is engaged with the tongue 5, the tongue 5 reaches an engagement position in which it is prevented from coming off. On the other hand, when the engagement plate 8 rotates in the opposite direction of the arrow A, the lock bar 10 encounters the notch step 8c when the engagement plate 8 reaches the engagement position, and the lock bar 10 encounters the notch step 8c due to the biasing force of the second spring piece 12b. As shown in FIG. 4, it rotates in the direction of arrow B (locking operation) so as to enter into the notch step 8c, and reaches the locking position where the engagement plate 8 is locked in the engagement position. Reference numeral 14 denotes an operating lever which is an operating means for releasing the lock of the lock bar 10 from the engagement plate 8. A pair of protrusions 14a, 14a located on both outer sides of the frame 1 are bent at one end thereof. Fan-shaped through holes 14b, 14b having the same shape as the through holes 11, 11 are provided in the projecting pieces 14a, 14a.
, and both ends of the lock bar 10 protruding outward from the frame 1 are inserted into the through holes 14b, 14b, respectively. In the state shown in FIG. 4, when the other end of the operating lever 14 is pushed down in the downward direction in the figure, the operating lever 14 moves the lock bar 10 against the biasing force of the second spring piece 12b in the direction indicated by arrow B. In this way, the lock bar 10 is unlocked from the engagement plate 8. 15 is the operating lever 14
A decorative button 16 attached to the other end is a compression spring that is interposed between the operating lever 14 and the frame 1 and always urges the operating lever 14 upward in the drawing. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. is set to be larger than l 1 (l 2 > l 1 ), and the dimension l 4 between the rotation center of the lock bar 10 and the operating part of the operating lever 14, that is, the button 15, is locked to the rotation center of the lock bar 10. The dimension between part 10a is larger than l 3 (l 4 >
l 3 ).

Next, the operation of the above configuration will be explained. When the tongue 5 is inserted into the frame 1 from the receiving opening 6 of the cover 2 in order to connect the tongue 5 to the frame 1, the tip of the tongue 5 touches the abutted part 8b of the engagement plate 8 midway through the insertion. After this, the tongue 5 is inserted while rotating the engagement plate 8 in the opposite direction of arrow A against the biasing force of the first spring piece 12a. Then, when the engagement plate 8 reaches the engagement position where the claw portion 8a enters the cutout portion 7 of the tongue 5 and engages therewith, the cutout stepped portion 8c of the engagement plate 8 encounters the lock bar 10 at the same time.
The lock bar 10 is rotated in the direction of arrow B by the biasing force of the second spring piece 12b, enters the notch step 8c, and locks the engagement plate 8 in the engagement position (see FIG. 4). Therefore, in the state shown in FIG.
is the claw portion 8 of the engagement plate 8 that is locked in the engagement position.
It is in a state where it is prevented from coming off by engagement with a and is connected to the frame 1. Next, in order to release the connection between the frame 1 and the tongue 5, the operating lever 14 can be pushed down. In this way, the lock bar 10 is rotated by the operation lever 14 in the opposite direction of arrow B against the biasing force of the second spring piece 12b, and is pulled out from the notch step 8c of the engagement plate 8, and is locked against the engagement plate 8. Release. As a result, the engagement plate 8 is rotated in the direction of arrow A by the biasing force of the first spring piece 12a, and the engagement of the claw portion 8a with the cutout portion 7 of the tongue 5 is released, so that the tongue 5 can be pulled out from the frame 1. The connection with frame 1 is then released. In this embodiment, when the engagement plate 8 rotates in the direction of arrow A and returns to the release position, the abutted portion 8b of the engagement plate 8 hits the tip of the tongue 5 during the rotation. Since the tongue 5 is then projected in the extraction direction, the tongue 5 is naturally extracted from the frame 1.

According to this embodiment configured as described above, since the frame 1 is formed into a substantially U-shape, the tongue 5 can be inserted along the folded bent portion 1b of the frame 1. There is no need to arrange engagement plates on both sides of the tongue as shown in Figure 1, and the tongue 5 can be connected to the frame 1 with one engagement plate 8. ) can be set smaller. Furthermore, since the notch 7 is formed on the side edge of the tongue 5, the engagement plate 8 can be placed on the same surface as the tongue 5, and the overall thickness dimension (the dimension in the left-right direction in FIG. 2) can be reduced. Can be set small. Furthermore, the engagement plate 8, the lock bar 10, and the operating lever 14 are all pivotally arranged to be rotatable, and the dimensions l 2 , l 1 and between the center of rotation of the engagement plate 8 and the cutout step portion 8c and the claw portion 8a are Since the dimensions l 4 and l 3 between the center of rotation of the lock bar 10 and the button 15 and locking portion 10a of the operating lever 14 are set to l 2 > l 1 and l 4 > l 3 , respectively, the so-called lever ratio ( l 2 /l 1 ×l 4 /l 3 ) increases, and the operating force applied to the button 15 is magnified by the principle of leverage and comes to act on the lock bar 10. Therefore, if a large tensile force is applied to the tongue 5, the cutout step 8c of the engagement plate 8 is pushed against the lock bar 10.
Even if the lock bar 10 is strongly pressed against the locking portion 10a and a large frictional force is generated there, the operating force required to rotate the lock bar 10 to the release position against this frictional force, that is, the button 15 of the operating lever 14 is The pressing force required is small, and the dissociation property is improved. Furthermore, while producing the great effects as described above, the number of parts is relatively small and assembly can be performed easily.
