Claims

At least two rows of transparent segment electrodes are arranged in the length direction of the substrate on one of a pair of transparent substrates facing each other with a liquid crystal layer sandwiched therebetween, and the segment electrodes in one row and the segment electrodes in the other row are commonly connected to each other.
