DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a light transmitting window for a spectrophotometer, and more particularly to a window body in which a window frame having a groove for attaching an O-ring is integrally formed into a cylindrical shape.

Conventional spectrophotometers use transmission windows as shown in FIG. 1A and B in order to keep the interior airtight. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a spectrophotometer substrate, to which a window frame holder 2 is fixed with screws 3.
A window material 4 such as glass and an O-ring 5 are placed in the window frame holder 2 in this order, and finally they are tightened or crimped with a screw ring 6 or a spring ring 7 to form an airtight window. In this way, with conventional windows, screw rings or spring rings and O-rings must be removed and attached to attach and detach the window material, and metal window frame holders are also processed with high precision using machine tools such as lathes. I had to process it.

The points of this invention are that the spectrophotometer window does not require the same degree of vacuum as a vacuum window because it is not intended for vacuum like the window for a vacuum device, but for airtightness.
We also focused on the fact that the spatula drawing technology, which had been used as a machining technology that did not require precision, has become possible to machine with an accuracy of around 1/100 mm due to advances in processing technology, and eliminated the drawbacks of the conventional method. The purpose is to obtain a window body for a spectrophotometer. In other words, the present invention uses a spatula drawing process to form an integral cylindrical window frame that has an opening for a transparent window at one end, a groove along the inner circumference in the middle, and a fixing flange at the other end. Attach a holder in close contact with the transparent window opening, position the window material in close contact with this holder, install an O-ring in the groove of the window frame, and place the window material between the holder and the O-ring. The present invention provides a window body for a spectrophotometer which is formed by holding the window body in place.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. In the figures, the same reference numbers as in Figure 1 refer to the same items. First, the constituent parts of this window body will be explained with reference to Figure 3, which is an exploded perspective view. 8 is a window frame made of metal materials such as aluminum, iron, stainless steel, etc., and is drawn by a spatula into the shape shown in the figure. Therefore, the molding is performed with sufficient precision to ensure airtightness. That is, the window frame 2 as a whole has an integral cylindrical shape, with a transmission opening 9 at one end and a flange 10 for fixing to the spectrophotometer substrate 1 at the other end. Further, a groove 11 is formed along the inner periphery of the intermediate portion, and as a result, the outer periphery of the groove 11 portion protrudes slightly outward. 12 is a cylindrical holder installed in the window frame 8, and one end is attached to the window frame 8 as shown in the figure.
It has the same opening as the opening for the transmission window, and the other end has an opening for receiving the window material. 4 and 5 are a window material and an O-ring as in the conventional example. The thickness of the holder 12 along the axial direction is equal to the length from the transmission window of the window frame to the groove. If the window material does not fit inside the holder but contacts the side surface, the total thickness of the holder and the window material will be equal to the length from the transparent window of the window frame to the groove.

FIG. 2 shows a state in which these components are mounted and attached to the spectrophotometer board 1 with screws 3. Place the holder 12 into the window frame so that one end is in close contact with the transparent window opening of the window frame, position the window material 4 in close contact with the holder 12, and finally install the O-ring 5 into the groove 11. , the window material 4 is fixed between the holder 12 and the O-ring 5, and the window frame 8, the holder 12,
The gap between the dense members 4 is sealed with an O-ring 5, and the inside of the spectrophotometer is kept airtight. When attaching and detaching the window material 4, it is sufficient to remove or attach only the O-ring.

As described above, according to the present invention, the transparent window is constructed using an integral cylindrical window frame that has a groove for installing an O-ring with the precision necessary for airtightness.
The window material can be easily attached and detached, the manufacturing cost is low, and the quality is uniform, so it is possible to obtain a window body that is compatible.
