When issuing a large number of identification cards, in order to efficiently record the information unique to the certificate holder on each certificate recording medium without errors, it is necessary to record the information unique to the certificate holder from the ledger that records the necessary information. The purpose cannot be achieved by extracting the information and recording it by hand on the certificate recorder, so a printing machine connected to a storage means in which the necessary information is stored automatically records the certificate recorder. It is often required to issue a large number of identification cards by printing information unique to the certificate holder on a recording medium. Furthermore, in order to confirm the correctness of the correspondence between the identification card and the person carrying it, the certificate holder may be required to handwrite his or her signature on the certificate recording body.

In order to satisfy these conditions, a certificate recording body needs to have both the suitability for recording visible information by mechanical printing means and the suitability for recording visible information by handwriting.

However, ID cards made of paper certificate recording bodies have poor moisture resistance, weak strength, and poor stain resistance, so the original form may be damaged, torn, or soiled. However, it has the disadvantage that it is difficult to read the recorded contents of the identification card.

Furthermore, if the person is required to sign his or her own handwritten signature as a less favorable condition, the certificate record is issued to the person, the signed document is collected again, it is protected with plastic film, and then The work of reissuing is required.

In addition, since the above process is necessary before the certificate is handed over to the person in question, the reasons for issuing the certificate are examined for an unspecified number of people, and the necessary information is given to those who satisfy certain predetermined conditions. It is difficult to apply a certificate recording body protected by plastic film to cases where certificates recording the certification facts are distributed by mail or the like.

Under these circumstances, there was a demand for the development of a recording medium for certificates that is made of plastic film with excellent moisture resistance and mechanical strength, and in which visible information can be recorded by hand or by mechanical means. Non-woven fabric materials and plastic films with porous surfaces have been developed.

From this point of view, we select a plastic film with favorable properties depending on the application, and in order to make it suitable for printing, we attach the previously mentioned non-woven fabric sticker or a plastic film with a porous surface to it, and then create a plastic film with composite properties. In addition to attempts to obtain materials with desirable properties by laminating two types of films or sheets, attempts have also been made to apply materials with good ink adsorption properties, such as pigments, to the surface of films with desirable properties by means such as coating. It came.

However, in both the certificate recording body made by pasting together the above two types of films or sheets, or the certificate recording body in which a coating layer of a material with good ink adsorption property is provided on the surface of the base film, the recording surface is bare. Since it is used in the open state, there is a problem in terms of stain resistance.

This is because the printing and writing suitability of the surface of the certificate recording medium and the stain resistance are contradictory, and generally speaking, increasing the ink adsorption of the surface of the certificate recording medium also increases its ability to absorb oil, fat, dirt, etc. This is because it will result in an increase at the same time.

Therefore, many of the certificate recording bodies that are excellent in terms of printability and writability have clear information recording surfaces in the initial stage immediately after they are issued, but as they are carried and used on a daily basis, Fingerprints, hand marks, etc. or foreign matter may stain the entire body, making it extremely difficult to decipher the required visible information recorded on the certificate recording body, and the certificate function is lost.

The present inventor uses plastic film as a base,
As a result of research on an information recording medium that has a coating layer made of a material suitable for printing and writing on one side and a magnetic layer on the other side, the problem of stain resistance has been solved. , providing a layer of material suitable for printing and writing on the base film,
A tint block printing layer is provided on the material layer having suitability for printing and writing, and a stain-resistant material layer having a thickness of at least 3 μm is provided on the material layer having the tint block printing layer and having a suitability for printing and writing. Both the suitability for printing and writing and the stain resistance are satisfied by providing the material layer that is uniformly distributed so as to partially cover the material layer that is suitable for printing and writing to the extent that it does not obstruct visual recognition. Furthermore, the inventors have discovered that it is possible to form an information recording medium that is extremely difficult to tamper with, and have completed the present invention based on this knowledge.

Next, the stain-resistant material layer 4 is uniformly dispersed over the entire surface of the material layer 2, which is suitable for printing and writing, and is suitable for printing and writing, which is provided with the tint pattern printing layer 3. It protrudes at least 3 μm or more beyond the suitable material layer and acts to prevent the printed or written ink coating surface from being directly contacted or rubbed, and the stain-resistant material layer 3 is made of acrylic resin. It is possible to apply a printing layer such as a plain net pattern or a line pattern with a thickness of 3μ or more formed by silk screen printing method, gravure printing method, etc. using silk screen ink, gravure ink, etc. During,
Silk screen printing using a silk screen printing plate made using a mesh screen with a screen line count ranging from 50 lines/1 inch to 80 lines/1 inch, and using acrylic resin silk screen ink. A plain mesh printing layer with a thickness of 3 μm or more and a dot area ratio of 10 to 30% is suitable.

In the information recording body of the present invention, an entry field is provided on the material layer having printing and writing suitability provided with a background pattern printing layer;
By printing the stain-resistant material layer after printing the desired characters, designs, etc., it is possible to form an information recording medium with the desired printing.

Since the information recording medium of the present invention is formed as described above, it is repeatedly conveyed by a mechanical device as shown in FIG. The degree is extremely low. When a magnetic information recording format is employed, a magnetic head is typically pressed against and slid against the magnetic recording layer in order to read the information recorded on the magnetic recording layer.

Also, when inserting an identification card into a machine, magnetic heads are often placed facing each other so that it can still be read even if the front side is inserted incorrectly. The visible information recording surface is always rubbed by one of the magnetic heads, which is the most severe condition from the standpoint of generating dirt from rubbing.

That is, even if the eraser is rubbed on the recording surface in an attempt to erase the information recording area, the eraser is blocked by the stain-resistant material layer and does not reach the ink-attached area of the material layer suitable for printing and writing. Therefore, even if a person who attempts to tamper with the information records erases the characters printed or written on the information recording medium, the purpose cannot be achieved.

Next, if you try to erase or tamper with the information recording area using chemicals, the background pattern will also be erased, and even if you try to restore the erased background pattern to its original state, the small marks between the stain-resistant material layers will be erased. Restoration through the gap is extremely difficult and impossible using normal methods.

As detailed above, the information recording medium of the present invention has high stain resistance, the printed or written recorded portion is less likely to be soiled by friction, and the recorded portion of visible information can be read for a long period of time. This has the advantage that not only can the clarity be maintained, but it is also extremely difficult to tamper with it.
