When issuing a large number of identification cards, in order to efficiently record the information specific to the certificate holder on each certificate recording medium without error, the certificate holder can be Extracting unique information and manually recording it on the certificate recorder cannot achieve the purpose, so a printing machine connected to a storage means that stores the necessary information automatically prints the certificate. In many cases, it is required to issue a large number of identification cards by printing information unique to the certificate holder on the identification card. Furthermore, due to the necessity of confirming the correctness of the correspondence between the identification card and the person carrying it, the certificate holder may be required to have his or her handwritten signature on the certificate recording body.

However, ID cards made of paper certificate recording bodies have poor moisture resistance, weak strength, and poor stain resistance, so the original form may be damaged, torn, or soiled. However, it has the disadvantage that it may be difficult to read the recorded contents of the identification card.

In order to eliminate such defects, the necessary visible information is printed or handwritten on the certificate recorder, and then the front, back, and surrounding areas are covered with plastic film to provide physical strength and prevent staining. Attempts have been made and put into practice.

However, with this method, an identification card cannot be issued without going through two steps: recording visible information and protecting it with plastic film, making the issuance process complicated and relatively expensive. There is a drawback.

If a less favorable condition is to require the person to sign the certificate in his or her own hand, the certificate is issued to the person, the signed document is collected again, and it is protected with plastic film.

In addition, since the above process is necessary before the certificate is handed over to the person in question, the reasons for issuing the certificate are examined for an unspecified number of people, and the necessary information is given to those who satisfy certain predetermined conditions. It is difficult to apply a recording medium for certificates that is protected by, for example, plastic film, such as distributing certificates recording proof facts by mail or the like.

Under these circumstances, there is a demand for the development of a recording medium for certificates that is made of plastic film with excellent moisture resistance and mechanical strength, and that can also record visible information by hand or mechanical means. Non-woven fabrics with a porous surface and plastic films with porous surfaces have been developed.

From this point of view, we selected a plastic film with favorable properties depending on the application, and in order to make it suitable for printing, we laminated the previously mentioned nonwoven sheet or a plastic film with a porous surface to create a composite material. An attempt was made to develop a material with such properties.

In addition to attempts to obtain materials with desirable properties by laminating two types of films or sheets, attempts have also been made to apply materials with good ink adsorption properties, such as pigments, to the surface of films with desirable properties by means such as coating. However, in both the certificate recording body made by pasting together the above two types of films or sheets, or the certificate recording body in which a coating layer of a material with good ink adsorption property is provided on the surface of the base film, the recording surface is bare. Since it is used in an exposed state, there is a problem in terms of stain resistance.

This is because the suitability for printing and writing on the surface of a certificate recording medium and its stain resistance are contradictory, and generally speaking, increasing the ink adsorption ability of the surface of a certificate recording medium improves its ability to absorb oil, fat, dirt, etc. This is because it results in an increase in the amount of water at the same time.

Therefore, many of the certificate recording bodies that are excellent in printing and writing suitability have clear information recording surfaces in the initial stage immediately after they are issued, but as they are carried and used on a daily basis, fingerprint,
The entire body becomes dirty due to hand marks or foreign matter, and eventually the required visible information recorded on the certificate recorder becomes extremely difficult to decipher, and the certificate function is lost.

The present inventor has discovered that an information recording medium that has a plastic film as a base, has a coating layer made of a material suitable for printing and writing on one side, and has a magnetic layer on the other side has the problem of stain resistance. As a result of research on the solved information recording medium, a material layer suitable for printing and writing is provided on the base film, and a stain-resistant material layer with a thickness of at least 3 μm is provided on the material layer suitable for printing and writing. Printing and writing aptitude and stain resistance can be improved by distributing the material uniformly so as to partially cover the material layer that is suitable for printing and writing to the extent that it does not impede the visibility of the recorded characters. We have discovered that it is possible to form an information recording medium that satisfies both of these requirements, and have completed the present invention based on this knowledge.

That is, the gist of the present invention is that a material layer suitable for printing and writing is provided on one side of a base film,
A contamination-resistant material layer having a thickness of at least 3 μm on the material layer having suitability for printing and writing partially covers the material layer having suitability for printing and writing to such an extent that it does not impede visibility of recorded characters. The information recording body is characterized in that a magnetic layer is provided uniformly distributed on the base film, and a magnetic layer is provided on the other surface of the base film.

The information recording body 5 of the present invention is provided with a material layer 2 suitable for printing and writing on one side of a base film 1, and a stain-resistant layer 2 having a thickness of at least 3 μm on the material layer 2 suitable for printing and writing. The material layer 3 is uniformly distributed so as to partially cover the material layer 2 that is suitable for printing and writing to the extent that it does not impede the visual recognition of recorded characters recorded by printing or writing, A magnetic layer 4 is provided on the other surface of the base film 1, and in the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the stain-resistant material layer 3 is formed in a plain net pattern.

Next, the stain-resistant material layer 3 is uniformly dispersed over the entire surface of the material layer suitable for printing and writing, and protrudes by at least 3μ or more from the material layer suitable for printing and writing, and is suitable for printing and writing. Or it acts to prevent direct contact or friction with the ink coated surface on which writing is done, and the stain-resistant material layer 3 is made of silk screen using acrylic resin-based silk screen ink, gravure ink, etc. A printed layer such as a plain mesh pattern with a thickness of 3μ or more or a parallel line pattern formed by a printing method, a gravure printing method, etc. can be applied,
In particular, the number of screen lines ranges from 50 lines/1 inch to 80 lines/1 inch.
Using a silk screen printing plate made using a mesh screen in the inch range, and silk screen printing using an acrylic resin silk screen ink, the dot area ratio of 3 μm or more is 10
A plain mesh printing layer of 30% to 30% is suitable.

Since the information recording medium of the present invention is formed as described above, it is conveyed by a mechanical device as shown in Figure 5, and even if it is rubbed by the guide roller 7, the printed or writing surface is not contacted, so that stains occur. The degree to which this happens is extremely small.

In addition, when inserting an identification card into a machine, the magnetic heads are often placed facing each other so that it can still be read even if the front side is inserted incorrectly. The visible information recording surface of the magnetic head is always rubbed by one of the magnetic heads, which is the most severe condition from the standpoint of generating dirt from rubbing.

That is, even if the eraser is rubbed on the recording surface in an attempt to erase the information recording area, the eraser is blocked by the stain-resistant material layer and does not reach the ink-attached area of the material layer 2, which is suitable for printing and writing. Therefore, even if a person who attempts to tamper with the information records erases the characters printed or written on the information recording medium, the purpose cannot be achieved.
