A conventional example of an eyepiece having this kind of diopter adjustment mechanism is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, 1 is an eyepiece, 2 is a lens frame that holds the eyepiece 1,
Reference numeral 3 denotes an outer frame fixed to a fixed portion (not shown), and is connected to the lens frame 2 by a helicoid.
4 is a display frame that is fixed to the lens frame 2 with screws 5 and can rotate integrally with the lens frame 2 and move forward and backward in the optical axis direction; 6 is a ring screwed onto the display frame 4; 7 is an outer frame Tooth portion 3a provided on the outer peripheral surface of 3
The stopper is a stopper that can be engaged with the outer circumferential surface of the display frame 4, and the tip thereof is normally connected to the outer frame 3 by a spring 10 housed in the attachment member 8, with the shaft 9 of the attachment member 8 screwed onto the outer circumferential surface of the display frame 4 as a pivot axis. The diopter adjustment mechanism is locked by engaging the toothed portion 3a of the diopter.

However, in this configuration, in order to release the lock, it is only necessary to apply force in the direction of arrow A (see Fig. 2), but the rotation surface of the stopper 7 centered on the shaft 9 and the rotation surface of the helicoid connection are are parallel to each other, so if a force in the direction of arrow C is applied to the display frame 4 with respect to the outer frame 3 in the locked state, a force in the direction of arrow B will be generated on the stopper, resulting in the lock being released. It was hot.

Therefore, the present invention aims to provide an eyepiece lens whose diopter adjustment mechanism can be reliably locked and released by a simple operation. 4, the same components as those shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the explanation thereof will be omitted. Reference numeral 11 denotes a stopper that can engage with teeth 3a provided on the outer peripheral surface of the outer frame 3, and an axis 13 that is substantially perpendicular to an axis parallel to the optical axis of the mounting member 12 screwed onto the display frame 4. The tip 1 is normally supported by a spring 14 housed in the mounting member.
1a is pressed into engagement with the teeth 3a of the outer frame 3 to lock the diopter adjustment mechanism.

Since the present invention is constructed as described above, the diopter adjustment mechanism is normally locked by engagement between the tip of the stopper 11 and the teeth 3a, but in order to release this lock, the stopper 11 must be The engagement between the tip of the stopper and the tooth portion 3a can be released by pushing it in the direction of the arrow X. Thus, by pushing the stopper 11 in the direction of arrow X and simultaneously rotating the display frame 4 around the optical axis, the lens frame 2 is rotated and the diopter is adjusted. After the diopter adjustment is completed, simply release your hand from the stopper 11 and the spring 14 will release the stopper 11.
is pushed in the direction opposite to the direction of arrow X, so the tip of the stopper 11 and the teeth 3a mesh with each other and the diopter adjustment mechanism is locked.

As described above, according to the present invention, the diopter adjustment mechanism is normally locked, but by simply pushing the stopper 11 in the direction of the arrow X, the lock can be released and the diopter can be adjusted. After adjusting the diopter, the diopter adjustment mechanism can be locked by a simple operation of releasing the stopper, and furthermore, the rotation plane of the stopper 11 and the rotation plane of the helicoid connection are perpendicular to each other. Therefore, the diopter adjustment mechanism can be reliably locked without being unlocked when the display frame is rotated in the locked state as in the conventional case, which is extremely advantageous. Also, since the rotation direction of the helicoid connection and the rotation direction of the stopper 11 are different from each other,
The operation of pushing the stopper 11 and simultaneously rotating the display frame 4 around the optical axis is ergonomically preferable and easier to perform compared to the conventional example.
