Equipped with means to prevent this. The blocking means in this type of conventional camera diopter adjustment device is provided with a rotating ring that is screwed into a threaded groove provided on the cam cylinder, and after the diopter is adjusted by the adjustment ring, this rotation is prevented. Screw the ring into the thread groove,
The adjusting ring is pressed against the abutting surface by the pressing force of the rotating ring, and the adjusting ring is held unrotatably by the clamping force between the abutting surface and the rotating ring. However, in conventional camera diopter adjustment devices of this type, after adjusting the diopter using the rotating adjustment ring, when tightening the rotation ring to the adjustment ring, the angle adjustment ring makes it difficult to see correctly. When the diopter is adjusted, the rotation of the rotating ring causes the adjustment ring to rotate inadvertently, causing the diopter adjustment to become incorrect. Therefore, in this type of camera diopter adjustment device, in order to prevent the adjustment ring from moving when tightening the rotation ring to the adjustment ring after adjusting the diopter, it is necessary to prevent the adjustment ring from rotating. The conventional method is to hold down the adjustment ring with one hand and tighten the rotating ring against the adjustment ring with the other hand, but this method is extremely difficult to operate. Generally, when adjusting the diopter of a camera, it is necessary for the operator to adjust the diopter while looking through the viewfinder. It is necessary to adjust the diopter manually. Therefore, it is preferable that the diopter adjustment device for a camera be configured so that the diopter adjustment and locking after the adjustment can be easily performed with one hand.

This is an eyepiece lens barrel holding 8 and 9. 4
is a cam barrel fixed to the camera body 1, and the cam barrel 4 has a cam hole 4 penetrating from the outer surface to the inner surface.
a, a protruding portion 4b protruding from the outer surface, and a threaded portion 4c provided on the outer periphery of the opening at one end. The eyepiece lens barrel 5 is slidably disposed inside the cam barrel 4, and the lens barrel 5 and the cam barrel 4 are connected to each other through the cam hole 4a of the cam barrel 4. A pin 5a implanted and fixed in the cylinder 5 is configured to engage with the pin 5a. Reference numeral 10 denotes a diopter adjustment ring rotatably disposed on the outer wall of the cam cylinder 4, and the adjustment ring 10 is rotated with a finger on a part of the outer peripheral wall of the diopter adjustment ring 10. In addition, a part of the circumferential wall is provided with long grooves 10a and 10c cut out to extend approximately parallel to the optical axis 0-0 of the eyepiece lenses 6, 7, 8, and 9. It is provided. The adjustment ring 10 is inserted from the right side to the left side of the cam cylinder 4 in FIG. It is disposed on the left side of the protrusion 4b. When the adjustment ring 10 is inserted onto the cam cylinder 4, the long groove 10c is formed between the protrusion 4b and the adjustment ring 1.
This is to avoid collision with 0. Further, the long groove 10a is used for loosely fitting the pin 5a when the adjustment ring 10 is inserted onto the cam cylinder 4.
Therefore, when adjusting the diopter, the adjustment ring 10 is connected to the cam cylinder 4.
When rotated above, the pin 5a is guided by the long groove 10a of the adjustment ring 10 and moves along the optical axis 0-0 while being regulated by the cam hole 4a of the cam cylinder 4. That is, the pin 5a is connected to the lens barrel 5.
Since the eyepiece lens barrel 5 moves along the optical axis 0-0 together with the pin 5a, the diopter is adjusted. A ring-shaped sliding ring 13 is slidably supported on the cam cylinder 4, and a long groove 13a extending in the optical axis direction is provided on the inner peripheral surface of the sliding ring 13. . And the sliding ring 1
The long groove 13a of No. 3 has a protrusion 4b on the cam cylinder 4.
The long groove 13a and the protrusion 4b allow the sliding ring 13 to slide in the optical axis direction, but prevent it from rotating. Reference numeral 14 denotes a ring-shaped rubber material having a large coefficient of friction, which is disposed between the end face of the adjusting ring 10 and the end face of the sliding ring 13. When the rubber material 14 is pressed against the adjustment ring 10 by sliding, it acts to prevent rotation of the adjustment ring 10. Reference numeral 11 denotes an eye cap holding ring having a threaded portion 11a on its inner surface that is threadedly engaged with the threaded groove 4c of the cam cylinder 4. The threaded portion 11a is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the ring 11. Reference numeral 12 denotes a control ring which has a threaded portion 12a on its inner surface that is threadedly engaged with the threaded portion 11a of the ring 11. The control ring 12 is rotated to one side so that the control ring 12 is placed in the first position relative to the ring 11. 4 When moved to the left in Figure 4, this control ring 12 becomes the sliding ring 1.
3, press the rubber material 14 against the adjustment ring 10, and press the adjustment ring 10 between the contact surface of the camera body 1 and the rubber material 1.
4 to lock the adjustment ring 10 from rotating. Then, the control ring 12 is connected to the ring 11.
4, the control ring 12 releases the pressing force pressing the rubber material 14 against the adjustment ring 10 via the sliding ring 13. It becomes possible to rotate it. Therefore, in a camera equipped with a diopter adjustment device configured in this way, in order to adjust the diopter, first hold the camera body 1 with one hand, and use the other hand to first control the diopter. The ring 12 is rotated in the eye cap 3 direction to release the pressing force of the rubber material 14 that is pressed against the adjustment ring 10, and the adjustment ring 10 is put into a rotatable state and the viewing angle is adjusted by operating the adjustment ring 10. After adjusting the degree, the control ring 12 is moved back to the sliding ring 1.
The rotation of the adjustment ring 10 can be locked by rotating it in three directions and pressing the rubber member 14 against the adjustment ring 10. This makes the operation extremely simple and makes it possible to lock the adjustment ring 10. When performing this adjustment, the adjustment ring 1 is rotated by controlling the rotation of the control ring 12.
However, the rotation control of the control ring 12 is not directly transmitted to the adjustment ring 10, and the force acting perpendicularly to the end surface of the adjustment ring 10 is transmitted by the sliding ring 13 and the rubber member 14. The adjustment ring 1 is provided with
Since the diopter is locked at 0, the adjustment ring 10 will not rotate during the locking operation and the diopter adjustment that has been adjusted to the correct state will not be disturbed, and the diopter adjustment can be made very easily and accurately. This has the effect that it is possible. Note that in this embodiment, the rubber material 14
and the sliding ring 13 may be constructed as separate members, or a portion corresponding to the rubber material 14 may be provided integrally with the sliding ring 13.
