Traditionally, cord heater type electric carpets
Two cord heaters 2 and 3 as shown in Figure 1
The right and left halves were wired separately, and when switching the power consumption, one of the cord heaters 2 and 3 had to be turned off, so only one half could be heated. In other words, if a user is sitting on the entire surface of an electric carpet, and the amount of electricity supplied to the carpet has to be cut in half due to the capacity of the house's power supply in order to use other electrical appliances, the amount of electricity supplied to the carpet must be halved. Either the power will be turned off, and the user who is collecting heat will not be warmed by the one that is turned off. Also, in order to make the temperature uniform over the entire surface of the electric carpet, it is necessary to make sure that the temperature is the same on both the left and right sides, but in this case, in the spring,
During off-season periods such as autumn, it is often possible to keep the temperature low rather than raising it as high as in the middle of winter. In this case, since the resistance of the heater is constant, only a constant temperature can be selected, which lacks usability.Also, as shown in Fig. 2, a combination of a single heater 6, a thermofusible resin body 5, and a signal line 4 creates a two-circuit system. It had some drawbacks, such as having a useless circuit structure, such as having a safety circuit.

The present invention was devised to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, and the cord heater consists of a thermofusible resin body that insulates and integrates multiple heaters with the same resistance, and a signal line arranged on the thermofusible resin body. Each heater is connected in parallel to the power supply, and a switch that is connected to the power supply circuit either individually or simultaneously is connected between the heaters on the power supply side, and one end of the two radiant heaters is connected. The other end of each wire is connected in parallel to the power supply with a series circuit in which diodes are connected in opposite directions, and both ends of the signal wire are connected between radiant heaters connected in series. By connecting the heater in parallel with the power supply and in series, and by installing the temperature fuse near the radiant heater and configuring it to respond to any of the radiant heaters, multiple heaters can be connected to a single signal line. It has an effective safety structure as a single safety circuit, and the circuit is simple, and the power consumption can be switched across the board.
Moreover, it is an object of the present invention to provide a structure in which the strength of the temperature can be selected as required and the usability can be improved.

This cord heater 15 is connected to an electric carpet 21 as shown in FIG.
It is arranged in a meandering manner. The electric circuit configuration is as shown in Figure 4, with each heater 18, 19
is connected in parallel to the power supply 14, and a switch 20 that connects the heaters 18 and 19 to the power supply circuit individually or simultaneously is connected to the heater 1 on the power supply 14 side.
It is connected between 8 and 19. Also, one end of the two radiant heaters 9 and 10 are connected, and the other end of each is connected in parallel to the power supply 14 with a series circuit in which diodes 8 and 11 are connected in opposite directions of AC current flow. .
Both ends of the signal line 16 are connected between the radiant heaters 9 and 10 connected in series, and the temperature fuse 12 is connected in parallel to the respective heaters 18 and 19 and in series with the power supply 14. Further, the temperature fuse 12 is installed near the radiant heaters 9 and 10 so that it responds thermally to both of the radiant heaters 9 and 10. 7 is a power switch; 13 is a control circuit that responds to the temperature of the heaters 18 and 19 to turn on and off electricity;
A power switch 7 and a control circuit 13 are connected in series between them.

The operation of this embodiment will be explained below. When the power switch 7 is turned on, the heaters 18 and 19 generate heat through the control circuit 13, and the control circuit 13 operates in response to the temperature of the heaters 18 and 19.
The cord heater 15, which maintains the temperature of the surface of the electric carpet at an appropriate temperature by intermittent energization of the cord heater 19, is wired all over the electric carpet 21 in a single circuit in a meandering manner as shown in FIG. In this case, both the heaters 18 and 19 generate heat, and the entire surface of the electric carpet can be brought to a high temperature. When the switch 20 is turned off, only the heater 18 generates heat, and the surface temperature of the entire surface of the electric carpet 21 decreases. In this way, even though the cord heater 15 appears to be just one, the power consumption and surface temperature can be switched between high and low using the switch 20. Furthermore, if the control circuit 13 malfunctions and the temperature of the heaters 18, 19 cannot be controlled, the heaters 18, 19 may overheat, creating a risk of fire or the like. In this case, cord heater 15 is
When the thermofusible resin body 17 insulating the wires 8 and 19 reaches the melting temperature, it melts and the signal wire 16 connects to the heater 1.
8 or 19, a current flows through the radiant heaters 9 and 10, overheating them, and blowing out the temperature fuse 12 which is thermally coupled and responsive in the vicinity, cutting off the circuit current and preventing danger.

No matter which of the heaters 18 and 19 is energized, abnormal overheating of either heater will melt the thermofusible resin body 17, so danger is prevented.

Since the heaters 18 and 19 have the same resistance, the wire diameter can be made the same, and the thickness of the thermofusible resin body can be made the same for both, and the shape of the cord heater 15 as seen from the outer jacket is symmetrical and uniform. Therefore, there is an advantage that it is easy to handle when forming the wiring pattern of the cord heater 15. In addition, since two heaters with the same resistance value are used, manufacturing management is easy, and there is no need to distinguish between the left and right heaters when making circuit connections, which improves work efficiency.
