Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce a thrust washer at low cost disusing a new material by punching as the material the waste material caused in punching the spring for bearing part fixing in case of the production of the thrust washer for motor. CONSTITUTION:The thrust washer 1 is produced by punching it in annular shape by making the inner diameter side engaging with a rotor shaft a circular hole and with the discoid waste material caused in punching the circular hole thereof as the blank material, in case of producing by punching from the blank material the spring 3 for fixing the bearing part of the motor using an oil impregnated metal on the bearing part of the rotor shaft. By utilizing the punched waste material of the spring 3 for fixing the bearing part the thrust washer 1 is produced with a waste utilization without using a new material especially, so the material cost becomes almost free and the thrust washer can be produced at extremely low cost.
