Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a convenience in use of a heating and cooking device of an electronic range by a method wherein a name of cooked food and a condition of feeding of power are stored, the food to be cooked can selectively by inputted and then the heated food is displayed. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply is turned on or during an initial stage of selection of the menu, a cooking category is displayed. A desired category is specified with up/down keys 8 and 9 and the number of display cell 13 is inputted by a menu selection key 7, resulting in that the selection menu is displayed at 6. Then, the detail of the selection menu is similarly selected and inputted and then it is displayed. The cooking is performed with a start key 10. Upon elapse of the cooking time, the display of category is returned back to its original condition and then the operation waits the subsequent or next cook. With this arrangement, a convenience in use of the cooking unit can be improved.
