のである。Previous attempts have been made to produce various types of foamed ceramics, including foamed glass, but each has drawbacks in terms of strength, cost, manufacturing conditions, etc. , the specific gravity is sufficiently low, it can be fired at relatively low temperatures, and the conditions are not too severe.
There was a problem that it was difficult to find a product that had various well-balanced advantages such as good yield, low cost, and good appearance, and could be supplied in large quantities. Means] The present invention was made to solve such problems, and it involves adding 5 to 30% by weight of gypsum to the main material, such as volcanic ash or feldspar, which melts and becomes the main component of the product.
A suitable amount of frit or a fluxing agent such as Merck and a blowing agent such as carborundum are added to this and mixed and refined.
Firing is performed within the range of 1,100°C to 1,200°C.

た。1.000 kg of Niijima average anti-firestone, 200 kg of plaster, 100 kg of talc, 100 kg of sand-based frit, and 7 kg of green carporundum were mixed well with water under the powder, and this was dried to form a tunnel with a width of about 1 m. Place the foamed ceramic plate about 50mm thick on a shelf set in the kiln and fire at about 150°C for about 6 hours, then let it cool down. The resulting foamed ceramic plate about 80mm thick is cut with a diamond cutter. By slicing, we obtained three worm-eaten foamed ceramic plates with a thickness of 20mm, 20m in length and width + square, and a specific gravity of about 0.5.The diameter of the bubbles was approximately 2 to 5m, and it was uniform as a whole. It did not give any impression of unevenness, and its strength was about 1.5 times that of foam glass of the same specific gravity, and it had better heat resistance, touch resistance, and sound absorption.

工を施すことによシ、甚だ趣きのあるものが得られる。The gypsum mixed in the present invention releases moisture during firing and heating, but this is thought to turn into water vapor and expand the countless voids in addition to the air bubbles caused by the foaming agent, which is a unique feature of this product. It is thought to be finished in foamed ceramic with rough bubbles. Therefore, the cell walls form a relatively thick bone plate structure, which is advantageous for strength and sound absorption. You get something.

Even if there are some differences in the firing conditions, the products obtained are all rough and useful, are easy to manufacture, have good yields, and have great effects.
