Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the undermentioned equipment from sticking algae, fur, iron rust, carbonate, etc., onto said equipment by mixing the aqueous solution of stabilized chlorine dioxide with a metallic ion-sealing agent and a rust- preventing agent to make a mixture as the circulating water for a cooling tower and the heat-exchanger of a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:0.5-30%, preferably 5% aqueous solution of stabilized chlorine dioxide or chlorite is added with 0.5-10%, preferably 3% water-soluble rust- preventing agent and 0.1-10%, preferably 5% metallic ion-sealing agent to make an aqueous solution, which is added into the circulating water for a cooling tower and the heat-exchanger of a refrigerator. As a result, cooling water is extremely effective for removing algae and preventing its growth, for removing fur and iron rust and preventing their generation and for removing carbonate, etc., and preventing their sticking.

Detailed Description of the Invention (A) Industrial Application Field Stabilized chlorine dioxide or chlorite from 0.5% to 30%
% Preferably 0.5% to 5% water-soluble rust inhibitor in a 5% aqueous solution
10% preferably 3% sequestering agent 0.1-1
By adding 0.1 to 2% (depending on the water quality and degree of pollution) of an aqueous solution containing 0%, preferably 5%, to the total amount of circulating water for cooling, you can remove and prevent the generation of water algae and reduce water scale. It is particularly effective in removing and preventing the occurrence of iron chains, and in removing and preventing carbonates from adhering to heat exchangers.

(B) Conventional technology Conventionally used additives are used to remove water algae and water scale iron chains, but because they are highly acidic, regular use can seriously damage the joints of iron piping. (C) Problems to be solved by the invention The additives of the new invention were adjusted to a pH of around 7 to 8, and were added to the circulating water. In this case, the circulating water becomes almost neutral, making it possible to use it constantly.
