本考案は上記した従来の欠点に鑑み、デイスク

めて安全かつ円滑に遂行できる切断用アタツチメ
ントを装設したデイスクグラインダを提供するこ
とを目的としたものである。

以下、本考案を具体化した図示の実施例につい
て詳述すると、図において1はデイスクグライン

の減速ギヤを内蔵するギヤケース3とから構成さ
れており、前記モータのモータ軸4はギヤケース
3に対してベアリング5にて回転可能に支承され
て該ケース3内に臨んでベベルギヤ6が固着さ
れ、このベベルギヤ6と噛合された減速用のベベ
ルギヤ7がギヤケース3に回転可能に支承された
砥石軸8に対して固着されている。そして、砥石
軸8の一端はギヤケース3から突出されてねじ部
が形成され、このねじ部に螺合される図示上下の
挾着部材9,10によつて通常の研削用の砥石g
と切断用のダイヤモンド砥石g′とが砥石軸8に対
して交換可能に挾着されている。前記上下の挾着
部材9,10のうち図示上側、すなわちギヤケー
ス3側の挾着部材9は第1図及び第5図イ,ロに
示すように一方の面にゴム等の防振部材9aが取
着されていて、研削用の砥石gを挾着する場合に
は該防振部材9aが砥石gの端面に(第5図ロ参
照)、また切断用のダイヤモンド砥石g′を挾着す
る場合には他方の金属面がダイヤモンド砥石g′の
端面に(第5図イ参照)それぞれ当接するように
砥石交換時に逆にして対応させるもので、砥石
g,g′の振動、衝撃等がギヤケース3側及びモー
タ等に伝達することを防止するものである。ま
た、第1図に示すように前記モータケース2とギ
ヤケース3との結合部位には固定プレート11が
介装され、このプレート11はギヤケース3にお
いてモータ軸4を支承したベアリング5の外輪5
aに当接されて該ベアリング5の抜止めをなす構
造となつている。なお、ベアリング5の内輪5b
はモータ軸4の段差部で位置決めされている。

孔18を角穴14に合致させ頭付止めねじ19と
蝶ナツト20とで砥石カバー12に対して固定す
る。この固定時において切断すべき被加工材Wの
厚さに対応して当板16下面とダイヤモンド砥石
g′外周との間隔、すなわち切断深さhを設定する
ものであり、また、砥石カバー12の一方端面が
被加工材Wに当接しないように該カバー12を取
付用のビス13を弛緩することにより回動させて
その位置を設定するものである。なお、砥石カバ
ー12の回動状態によつても切断用アタツチメン
ト15の当板16下面とダイヤモンド砥石g′外周
との間隔が設定される。しかして、ダイヤモンド
砥石g′を被加工材Wに対して直角状態になるよう
に本体1を起立させ、この状態において、切断用
アタツチメント15の当板16下面を被加工材W

るためのベアリング5の外輪5aを抜止め支持す
るものであるから、従来、例えばベアリングを抜
けないように固定するための1つの部材としてボ
ツクス状の支持部材をそのベアリング回りに組付
けたり、またベアリングの内外輪の支持を図示の
ものと前後方向に逆に構成して、この外輪の抜止
めを兼ねたベベルギヤの抜止め用サークリツプ等
をギヤケース内から組付けるように構成したもの
に比し、そのベアリング5の支持構成をきわめて
簡単かつコンパクトな構造にし得るとともに、そ
の組付け作業をきわめて容易にできる利点を有
し、また第5図イ,ロに示すように通常の研削作
業に供する砥石gとタイル石材等の切断作業に供
するダイヤモンド砥石g′とをそれぞれの作業に応
じて砥石軸8に取付固定する場合、とくに通常の
砥石gの取付固定に際して防振部材9aを有した
上の挾着部材9と下の挾着部材10に挾着するも
のであるから、その防振部材9aによつて作業中
の防振等を図る利点を有する。

常のデイスクグラインダとしての作業機能を阻害
することなく、この種のデイスクグラインダ本
体、すなわち砥石カバーに着脱できる切断用アタ
ツチメントによりデイスクグラインダ本体を最適
の姿勢にて保持し、該切断用アタツチメントの当
板を被加工材に沿わせて案内として移動しながら
切断作業を行なうことができ、しかも切断深さは
アタツチメントの基板を砥石カバーに対してその
突出長さが調節可能であることから、きわめて簡
単に対応できる。このことは、デイスクグライン
ダによる切断作業をデイスクグラインダ本体のふ
らつきを無くしてきわめて安定した状態で安全か
つ円滑に遂行することができるとともに、この種
デイスクグラインダにおける特有の問題点を除去
して加工作業の多様化を図ることができる効果を
有する。
