Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce resistance produced when water over-flows during fall-down, by a method wherein lamination of elastic films at the joint point of the revetment of a dam with a curve foundation is such that the threads in the direction of a flow of the film material on the revetment part are cut to join it with the film material of a foundation part. CONSTITUTION:A body carpet 4 is shaped in conformity with a curve 5 of a d dam foundation 1 to form a curve 6 produced during fall-down. The carpet 4 on both a revetment part 2 and a foundation part 1 are joined in a direction extending parallel to a flow, and joining at a cross part therebetween is such that the threads in the direction of a flow of the carpet on the revetment part 2 are cut and said carpets 4 are respectively joined with the carpets on the foundation part 1 having threads in the direction of a flow being not cut. Thus, the carpet 4 is shaped such that the curve 6 of a corner part coincides with a cuuve 5 of the dam foundation.
