Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) Electrons emitted from a filament are applied to a grid of a display pattern-shaped phosphor layer formed on a mesh-like electrode provided on the inner surface of an insulating substrate that forms the display window of a vacuum-tight container. In a fluorescent display tube in which a desired display is obtained by acceleration control and impact by an electric field formed by an electric potential, the mesh electrodes in the same display segment are formed of two or more types of meshes having different shapes.
