2の映像信号トラツクを示す。家庭用VTRで
は、一般に2ヘツド・ヘリキヤルスキヤン方式を
採用しており、映像信号は第1図に示す如く2つ
のヘツド(チヤンネル1、チヤンネル2)で交互
に記録される。また、この2つのヘツドはヘツド
ギヤプ方向を変えて記録(アジマス記録)する為
に、他チヤンネルヘツドで記録した信号はほとん
ど再生することができない。この為、第1図に示
す如くつなぎ録画時に両者の映像信号トラツクの
並びが乱れて記録されると、再生時にヘツドは所
望トラツを正確にトレースすることができず、ア
ジマス記録のためこの部分で画像S/Nの劣化が
有りホワイトノイズが発生し見苦しくなるという

と新たに記録するヘツドチヤンネル位相が乱れる
