とするものである。 The weight load that is applied to the sole of the foot during running starts when the heel hits the ground on the rear outer side of the heel, passes through the heel, the outer side of the non-stepping area, the ball of the fifth toe, the ball of the first toe, and then the first foot. The toes are moved sequentially in response to the kicking motion of the second to fifth toes, but from the landing motion to the ground contact, a large impact force is applied from the ground to the outer side of the heel of the sole, and this At the same time, the outer side of the heel of the intermediate sole made of elastic foam is moderately compressed, and the subsequent rapid elastic recovery force causes the heel of the foot inside the shoe to excessively rotate internally, that is, to overprop. It is generally known that the
This overpronation has been pointed out to be the cause of knee joint injuries. Conventionally, as a sole for sports shoes to prevent overpronation, JP-A-58
No. 49101 proposes a column-shaped hard stabilizer embedded in the inner side of the heel of the intermediate sole. However, since the column-shaped rigid stabilizer is buried in the cushioned intermediate sole, It has poor shock absorption on the inside edge, making it uncomfortable to wear, and due to the extreme difference in hardness between the cushioning properties of the midsole and the stabilizer, the midsole is severely damaged at the interface, resulting in a lack of durability. It was hot. This invention eliminates these drawbacks by making a simple modification to the heel portion of the intermediate sole 2, and will be explained below with reference to the actual drawings. and a flexible outer sole 3 are layered,
Moreover, a plurality of grooves 21 are formed in the heel portion of the intermediate sole 2, gradually becoming smaller from the outer side a to the central side b.
The object of the present invention is to provide a sole for an athletic shoe characterized by having the following features: 21...

It is preferable that the sponge hardness is 40 to 70 degrees according to physical test methods for expanded rubber according to the association standards. If the hardness of the sponge is less than that, it is too soft and loses its shape retention, and is likely to be compressed excessively when running, reducing the stability of the shoe while running. If the hardness is higher than that, the cushion will There is a tendency for the wearability to deteriorate and for the wearer to feel uncomfortable.

The upper surface of the heel of the intermediate sole 2 may be opened upward, or the lower surface of the heel of the intermediate sole 2 may be opened downward. In this invention, if necessary, from the inner side c of the heel part of the intermediate sole 2 to the center side b, the volume of the grooves 21, 21... is smaller than the groove 2.
By providing the grooves 22, 22..., it is possible to impart appropriate cushioning properties to the inner side of the heel portion of the sole, making the wearer's comfort even better.
This makes it possible to further reduce the weight of the sole. In this invention, the upper sole 3 is made of a flexible elastic foam or a solid body.

耐久性に優れたものとなる。 As described above, this invention has grooves 21,
21... are gradually smaller in size, that is, the notches formed by the grooves 21, 21... are gradually larger from the center side b to the outer side a of the heel portion 2. As the shock absorbency of the intermediate sole 2 gradually increases toward the outer side a, the repulsion elasticity gradually decreases, and it is assumed that a large impact force is applied from the ground to the outer side of the heel of the shoe sole from the landing movement to the grounding movement. Moreover, even if the outer side of the heel part of the intermediate sole is excessively compressed from the landing movement to the grounding movement, the elastic recovery force gradually decreases from the center side b of the heel part to the outer side a. As a result, the heel of the foot does not overpronate. Furthermore, since the outer sole 3 is made of a flexible material, the cushioning properties of the intermediate sole 2 are not inhibited and the shoe is comfortable to wear. Furthermore, there is no need to embed a hard stabilizer on the inner side of the heel portion of the intermediate sole as in the past, resulting in a simple structure and excellent durability.
