Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare flocked cloth having air permeability simply and inexpensively in a mass production system, by applying stretching and vibration to flocked air permeable cloth under heating and drilling the synthetic resin adhesive layer at the part corresponding to the widened cloth meshes. CONSTITUTION:A block, type polyurethane resin solution is applied to the surface of long release paper 3 used in a pressure sensitive adhesive tape in an extremely thin thickness while the release paper 3 is advanced to form a synthetic resin adhesive layer 2. Next, knitted cloth as air permeable cloth 1 is adhered to the release paper 3 while hot air is blown to said release paper 3 to volatilize a solvent to be taken up in a roll form. The release paper 3 is peeled off while the adhered one is drawn out from one end thereof to be transferred to a flocking process to expose the adhesive layer 2 and, after heat pretreatment, not only blocking is applied to the adhesive layer 2 in a flocking chamber 6 but also stretching is imparted to the cloth 1 in the longitudinal and lateral directions thereof while minute vibration is applied to the back surface of the cloth 1 by a vibrator and the adhesive is cured at the last stage to obtain the product.

In the present invention, an ultra-thin synthetic resin adhesive layer is first formed on the surface of the breathable fabric, but in order to form this synthetic resin adhesive layer, for example, a block mold is placed on a long piece of release paper. After applying a thin layer of synthetic resin adhesive such as polyurethane resin liquid, about 60% of the solvent in the synthetic resin adhesive was evaporated with hot air, a long piece of breathable fabric was pasted on top of this, and then All you have to do is turn it upside down and remove the release paper. In addition, the flocking means uses a well-known flocking device, and advances the breathable fabric with a synthetic resin adhesive layer formed on the surface to pass through a heated flocking chamber, so that the synthetic resin adhesive layer is heated. It is sufficient to make it exhibit sufficient adhesion ability and then implant short fibers. After flocking, a take-up roller applies tension in the longitudinal direction and also on both sides to widen the grain and heat it. At the same time, a vibrator is applied to the back side of the breathable fabric to vibrate it, forming a breathable fabric. The synthetic resin adhesive layer that covers the surface of the yarn is perforated at the fabric portion expanded by the tension, vibration, and heat contraction of itself, and air permeable pores are formed. The coating thickness of the adhesive is extremely thin and cannot be easily measured, but it suffices as long as it can be applied evenly to the surface of the breathable fabric and the short fibers can be bonded and solidified in the flocking process. The temperature of the preheating treatment varies depending on the type of synthetic resin adhesive, but when using a block-type polyurethane resin liquid as described above, the adhesive will not soften if the temperature is lower than 70°C, and if the temperature is lower than 90°C. If it exceeds 70, the adhesive will begin to harden and the adhesion of short fibers will decrease in the subsequent flocking process.
The temperature is preferably about 90°C. Further, the structure of the vibrator that vibrates the breathable fabric from the back side is not particularly limited, but the structure of the vibrator is not particularly limited. It is preferable to use rollers that are arranged perpendicularly as the main body, and to alternately move the rollers up and down one by one to apply slight vibrations to the breathable fabric. Note that this vibration may be performed before hair transplantation.

After flocking, the adhesive is cured by heating to the curing temperature of the adhesive, while excess short fibers generated during electrostatic flocking are lifted up by vibration and sucked up by a vacuum device to be reused or discarded.

(Example) While advancing a long release paper (3) used for adhesive tape, a block-shaped polyurethane resin liquid (trade name: special adhesive DX-910 manufactured by Seiko Kasei Co., Ltd.) is applied to the surface of the paper to an extremely thin thickness. Apply it uniformly to form a synthetic resin adhesive layer (2), and then blow hot air onto it to volatilize about 60% of the solvent in the liquid while attaching the stockinette fabric as the breathable fabric (1). This was then wound up into a roll together with release paper (3). Next, this roll is transferred to the flocking process, and while being pulled out from one end, the release paper +31 is removed to expose the adhesive layer on the surface.
) After pre-heating at 80°C, the fabric is flocked in a flocking room (6) and the back side of the breathable fabric (1) is subjected to slight vibrations in the longitudinal and width directions using a vibrator (7) using a roller (4). After applying tension to and sucking out the excess short fibers, the adhesive was heated to 150±2°C in the curing chamber (8) to harden the adhesive to create a product. When the product was put to the mouth and breathed out,
It showed almost the same air permeability as before flocking, and it showed much better air permeability compared to the flocked fabric made using conventional manufacturing methods, which has almost no air permeability.

(Effects of the Invention) The method for producing a breathable flocked fabric of the present invention involves applying tension and vibration to the flocked breathable fabric while heating and perforating the synthetic resin adhesive layer in a portion corresponding to the expanded cloth grain. , breathable flocked fabric can be mass-produced by simply forming countless ventilation pores. The ventilation pores are extremely fine and the surface is covered with short fibers, making it possible to mass-produce air-permeable flocked fabric by simply forming countless ventilation pores. This is an extremely significant contribution to the development of the industry as a method for producing breathable flocked fabrics that have an appearance no different from flocked fabrics and can be used to expand the uses of flocked fabrics such as clothing fabrics and upholstery for chairs.
